I couldn't understand what was happening.

Link finished restocking his quiver and walked over to the targets, Mr. Skies doing the same after he slung his equipment over his shoulder. He stopped and pointed to a line, then winked.
Hope you cheer for me princess.
I could feel the heat creeping up my neck as I pressed my lips into a straight line, mimicking than the one I was standing behind right now. I haven't even known this guy for twenty-four hours and I was afraid of this rushing into something more. I couldn't say I didn't enjoy it though. I had a feeling this peace wouldn't last long...
He stepped in between two markers and barely took any time to line up his shot before he fired. Bullseye.
Mr. Skies had just stepped in between two markers beside him when the arrow hit. He smirked.
Skies lined up his shot, fired an arrow, and then fired another arrow straight after. Two bullseyes.
Link closed his eyes and did the same as Skies, instead firing four arrows, eyes closed.
I had a vision of a man riding a well tamed steed in a desert, hitting pots on crates and high rising targets. On one of the higher and larger targets he hit an endangered gold skulltula, the bug hissing as it reached the ground. I cringed.
Soft footsteps made me snap out of my trance-like state. I noticed that Link was smirking at Skies as he stared at him in shock. Link looked over and smiled, then his face turned to a look of surprise as he looked over my shoulder.
I turned around and looked at the other person in surprise.
"Ah. Oh you! Mipha isn't it?"

A/N: Really short. School just started again. Ill try to pump out more updates though! Geography is my most chill class and I only write in short intervals when I've already finished with that set of notetakings on my laptop. I DO pay attention okay? And oop. Only like 300 words.
