Two weeks later ; hospital room 309
"Hello? W-where am I?"
The doctor looked over his shoulder with a shocked yet relieved expression.
"Mr Ackerman? You're in Hospital, you've been here for two weeks. You got shot in your home. Would you like me to call Eren for you?"
Levi was confused. Very. How'd he get here? When? Why?
But most importantly, he couldn't figure out one specific thing...
"Who's Eren?"
The doctors expression shifted to a worried one. He'd dealt with memory loss many times in his career, but Levi didn't have a head injury. So the real question was, how has Levi lost his memory?
"Do you know where you are Mr Ackerman?"
"I-um, What day is it?"
The doctor couldn't figure out the pattern in his memory gaps, the inability to answer questions. What was going on?
"It's the first of June, Mr Ackerman. How are you feeling?"
"I- um, I feel fine. Can I leave, please? I have someone waiting for me at home."
"Who, Mr Ackerman? Everyone you know is here."
"Petra, she's waiting at home. She must be worried about me. Can I call her?"
"Give me a moment."
The doctor left the room puzzled. He had no clue what was going on. No one had ever heard of a Petra, Hanji had never informed them of anyone called Petra.
"Miss Zoë, May I have a word?"
Hanji turned around to see the doctor looking worried, and confused. She nodded as a sign for him to continue.
"Mr Ackerman is awake. But he seems to be in a very disorientated state. He says that Petra is waiting for him at home. Do you know of any Petra?"
Hanji was as confused as the doctors were at this point.
"Not that I know of, no. Has he asked about Eren at all? Maybe Petra has something to do with Eren."
"I'm very sorry, Miss Zoë, but he's seem to have forgotten Eren."
Hanji was taken aback by the doctors revelation. How could the Levi Ackerman forget the one person he's ever loved?
"I— no! That's impossible! How? He didn't even hit his head!"
"Exactly. I have no clue how he's managed to forget Eren with the minor concussion he's experienced. This is a medical mystery."
The doctor gave Hanji a nod, before returning to his work.
"This isn't a medical mystery, this was caused by magic, and I think I know who."
