Marinette's head suddenly spins, whatever sound goes numb, and all that is not Luka vanishes into a blur.

He saw her.

He saw her.

She watches him, his icy blue eyes trained on hers, just as wide and surprised. She doesn't know if it's a trick of the light, but his cheeks also seem to turn a tiny shade of red. She sees him speak into his mike, and suddenly the arms around Marinette release.

The crowd, once loud, overtaking, and unforgiving, goes still. The waves of motion come to a halt, their thundering sounds to a cese.

To Marinette's bewilderment, the once impenetrable crowd now parts, giving her a clear way to the stage.

A clear way to him.

She finds herself unconsciously taking a step forward...then another, and another, until she stands at the foot of the stage.

She doesn't know if the stadium is still quiet, or if her own mind is blocking out all other sounds, but all she hears is the rapid beating of her heart in her ears.

It's incredible. She actually did it.

He was there, right there in front of her.

Still wearing his causal outfit, his guitar, freshly polished, rests in his hands, and his hair is obviously brushed and dried, all evidence erased from their previous adventure.

His features are all bright with the stage light, yet still as soft as ever before.

His lips rest in a soft smile, a smile meant only for her.

He leans into the mike, his eyes never parting from hers.

"Now this song is going to be a little different from what we are used to." His voice rings out.

"And, the reason why is because...well..."

He seems to be at loss for words and Marinette's heart clenches in her chest for him.

Luka gives a shy smile before his eyes glance away from her's, shifting to the crowd, and then to his fingers resting on his guitar.

They start to glide over the chords and a sweet melody starts playing over the arena.

Taking a deep breath, Luka brings his lips to the mike, and sings.
