Mommy- Sarah Urie
Little- Brendon Urie
Song- "Renegades" by X Ambassador

Sarah gently painted over the almost empty canvas in front of her, Brendon was off in big space somewhere in the house, and Sarah was using the time to relax and paint a little.

She hadn't been painting much recently, even if little Brendon loved watching her paint, she just hadn't had the time.

Brendon came into their spare bedroom, smiling softly as he walked over to Sarah, gently wrapping his arms around her waist, and laying his head down on her shoulder from behind. "Hi, Mommy," Brendon told her softly, smiling as he watched her paint.

Sarah could tell he was still a big boy, but she saw the pacifier hanging from his shirt, guessing he was thinking about slipping, she didn't care if he was big or little, as long as she had her baby.

"Hey, Beebo, what are you doing in here, big guy?" Sarah asked him softly, setting down her palette and paintbrush on the table, before turning in her chair to look at Brendon.

He stood up, his hands falling behind his back as he looked at Sarah, "Wanted to see you, mommy, got lonely," Brendon said quietly, looking down at the ground as he gently played with the back of his shirt.

Sarah smiled softly, moving one hand to gently cup Brendon's and make him look up at her, "That's Alright, baby, you can come to see mommy any time you want, I just wanted to know why," Sarah told him sweetly, getting up from her stool to kiss his forehead.

Brendon blushed and looked back down at the ground, letting out a small giggle as Sarah moved to open a window.

"Is my little man all shy now?" Sarah asked him teasingly, moving to him to gently hold him in her arms, squeezing him tightly against her chest.

Brendon gasped quietly, and shook his head no, "Not shy," he whispered softly, giggled excitedly when she sat down and pulled her into his lap.

Sarah gently pet over his head, holding him tightly, "I think somebody's a little shy, my little baby, does he need his mommy?" Sarah asked him, gently tickling Brendon's side.

Brendon nodded and giggled, "Mhmn, I's need my mommy, need her bunches," Brendon said softly, his entire demeanor changing as he slipped into little space. Sarah pet over his head, softly smiling down at him as he nuzzled against her.

She gently sat Brendon down on the floor, sliding the pacifier between his lips, "Mommy'll always be right here for you, sugar," Sarah told him, petting over his head for a second, before moving to the window and opening it.

Brendon followed after her, crawling around the floor to gently tug on her jeans, smiling happily when she looked down at him.

"Little one, do you want to paint with mommy? I can get you a poster board, and you can paint on it?" Sarah told him softly, leaning down to his height, smiling as a breeze blew through the window, seeing it shock her little boy.

Brendon wiggled a little on the floor, happily smiling before crawling away again and to the cabinet with all of his little space paint in it.

Sarah smiled and laid out a drop cloth, gently tapping it to the floor while Brendon dug through the bottom drawer. Once she got a space big enough for Brendon to paint without making a mess, she went over to him, pulling out a new thing of finger paint.

Brendon giggled excitedly, holding his fingers up for her, as he if found his "brushes". Sarah laughed softly, picking him up and carrying him back to the cloth, "Stay on the tarp while painting, Alright?" Sarah told him softly, kissing his forehead before laying the poster board out for him.

The small boy instantly got to work, dipping his fingers in the blue before painting on the board, happily giggling at the cold feeling.

Sarah watched him for a few moments before kissing the top of his head again, and going back to her own painting. She painted a little house, deciding little Brendon would very much love to live somewhere with a bigger garden and more places to play. She painted away, occasionally checking on her baby.

Brendon, on the other hand, was happily painting the ocean, or what his little mind thought of anyway. The small boy had ditched his jeans and his shirt a long time ago, so now he just sat on the drop tarp in his boxers. He painted all kinds of little fish, and giggled happily as the paint started smearing up his arms and occasionally got on his legs and knees, smearing it in hopes of cleaning it up.

His palms looked like a messy galaxy of basic colors, and every time he rubbed them together, they looked grosser, but he enjoyed it. It made him giggle and laugh.

Once he finished his artwork, he made grabby hands for his mommy, "Mommy! Mommy!" Brendon cheered out happily, bouncing a little on the cloth. He was a little covered in paint, but he loved it while it was still wet.

Sarah looked over at him and chuckled softly, "Beebo! You're all dirty!" She said, setting her stuff down, and moving down beside him.

Brendon giggled excitedly, wiggling in his spot, "Mommy dir'y too," Brendon said while reaching for her arm.

She pulled away from him a little, before sighing and giving Brendon one of her hands, "Baby, you're going to get paint all over the house," she told him softly, smiling a little as Brendon covered her hand in the messy paint.

Brendon looked up at her after he covered her hand, giggling quietly as he reached for more paint. Sarah gently pushed the containers of paint away, "Not right now, baby, we need to go wash your hands so you can show Mommy that pretty painting," Sarah told him, getting up off the ground, pulling Brendon to his feet too.

The small boy looked awkward standing, and she knew he'd rather crawl, but somebody had paint covering his hands. Sarah took him to the bathroom, letting him hold her hand that had paint on it too.

She helped him wash his hands, scrubbing all the colors and paint layers off of his hands, letting him play in the bubbles and water when they were done.

He giggled excitedly as he pushed the blueish water around, keeping it from going down the drain, "Mommy! Uppies, p'ease?" Brendon asked her softly, tugging on her shirt with his wet hands.

Sarah chuckled and smiled, picking him up and bouncing him in her arms. She smiled at his excited giggles, sweetly kissing his forehead. "Are you ready to go show mommy what you painted?"

Brendon nodded, leaning against her and making grabby hands for the door, "wan'" he whispered to her, wiggling a little in her arms.

Sarah sweetly rubbed his back, carrying him to the room again, sitting him down on the drop cloth, petting over his head as she sat down beside him.

Brendon blushed a little, holding onto Sarah's leg, "I's painted us in the sea! mommy, t'ere's you, and me. There's the fishies," he said shyly, nuzzling into her shoulder.

Sarah smiled softly, "it's so pretty, baby, when it dries, do you want to hang it up?"

Brendon nodded slowly, crawling back into her lap and staying close against her.
