I never thought (Link x Dark Link)

"I'm leaving again," Link stated to Navi, who didn't want him to leave.

"Link, wait, I need to tell you something before you do.." She said before he exited the forest again. He turned around and looked at his fairy.

"What is it..?" A concerned highlighted the young male's voice, putting his sword and shield away. Navi came closer to his face and her wing flapping seemed to be slower than before.

"..well, by the end of September, you must head to the Temple of Time. I can tell you more later on, now is not a good time." Navi started to fly off, and Link was simply just confused. Why would he need to go there? It's not like he's a huge hero or anything. Perhaps, she knows about Dark Link and he is going to be there or something....

"Wait! What month is it?" He asked before she was out of sight. She turned to face the blonde Kokiri.

"April," she said, flying away from him. Link counted how many months that was until he would be at the Temple of Time. He was anxious it was something about Dark Link, and was worried he was getting killed or whatnot. But, other than that, he headed out and started to make his way to Zora's Domain.

He arrived at the Domain, going to the underwater passage way to wait for his dark döppelganger. It was late, but not quite eleven yet.

"BOINNG BOINNG! Time is currently 20:27" The statue read, and Link sighed some more. He headed over to Crow, sitting by his 'stem' and getting out his Ocarina given to him by Saria. He played a song, awakening Crow to ask another question.

"Hey buddy, whaddya need?" The scarecrow asked with a tone of happiness. Link stood up and looked at Crow, smiling.

"This is a strange question that you probably won't know but, is anything bad happening at the end of September at the Temple of Time?" Link asked the lively farm prop. It started to hum, indicating it was thinking about its answer. Eventually, Crow had something to say.

"Well, if you want to call it bad," he began. "At the end of September, you must withdraw the Master Sword from its resting place and skip time ahead seven years.. encountering fearsome yet interesting quests." Crow told Link, and he widened his eyes.

"What?! Me?! Just a small, lonely Kokiri boy has to pull the Master Sword?" Link clenched his chest, and Crow uttered out a 'yes'. "Wait.. does that mean I'll be older then..? Will.. will Dark Link be older too..?" Link hesitantly asked. Crow sighed, shaking his arms a little.

"You and him will both be older in those seven years time. Although, I have doubts you'll remember eachother. And, in those long years, Dark Link will be sealed away in the Water Temple." Crow stopped moving his arms and gave a sorrowful sound to Link below him. Link pulled his hand away from his chest and his breathing got heavier.

"But why will he be sealed away in the Water Temple? Isn't that where he already camps out for the day?" Link asked, but Crow had become limp again. Quickly pulling out his Ocarina and playing another song for Crow to join into, he repeated his question.

"Dark Link will be sealed away because during those seven years he would've been found by one of the Zora's and taken down there to be locked away, and to be unlocked by the chosen one," Crow stated, Link sitting back down again. "The chosen one will be asked to go after and defeat Dark Link, otherwise he will be killed and Dark Link would've sided with evil and darkness and most likely have started to conquer Hyrule." Link's head drooped downwards and he stared blankly at the soil he was sitting on. He grasped at it in his hand and caused his hand to get dirty. But, that was the least of his concerns. Not only was he going to forget and lose his best friend after withdrawing the Master Sword, but he will be locked away and has to be killed by the chosen one. Glancing upwards, he saw Crow had gone limp again. Another song and he was lively once more.
