Chapter 13 - My Boys

~GOOD NEWS! so yes, I'm back guys. I have been away for so long and my updates have been terrible HOWEVER my exams are now over, I have more free time and my chapters are progressively getting longer again. I had arrived home before the boys, left my bag at the end of the empty bed and sat on the sofa. I curled one of my legs underneath me, leaving my burnt one-from the explosion- straight out. My hair was damp from the rain, and my bones felt cold, numb. And thats where I stayed, in that one position until the boys returned home from their practice.

We walked up to the dorm, chatting happily since our choreography was near perfect today and the promotions from the week before looked insane. jin opened the door to the dorm and I froze, the last thing I had been expecting was y/n... she was pale, so pale she was basically translucent. And so thin...too thin.. I could see every bone in her face, and her bright eyes.. dull. She looked up at us and I've never wanted to crumble to my knees more than now. My y/n... my y/n was crumbling into fragments of glass before my eyes. Namjoon was the first to move in her direction, calling out her name as he hugged her tightly; I thought he was going to cry. I was next, I dropped my bag and ran to her side, desperate to hold her again. she took my hand to stand up slowly, ice cold. Her fingers were ice cold, her usual warmth gone. She had barely gotten to her feet when she broke down right in front of us.

Namjoon was the first to move in my direction, calling out my name as he hugged me tightly; I thought he was going to cry. Hosoek was next, he dropped his bag and ran to my side, his eyes were desperate, worried. i took his hand to stand up slowly, warmth. His fingers were so warm. I had barely gotten to my feet when I broke down right in front of them.

Everything I had been holding it, keeping to myself just broke me and all I could do was sob and whimper and hold myself pathetically. I was so alone..so cold and numb.. and I couldn't suppress it any more- I wasn't okay. I was hurting, I was scared and weak and breaking. Hoses was the first to catch me, his warm, strong arms supported my quieting body as I cried. I clung to him, breathing in his scent- like light to the darkness, it felt safe. I was crying so hard for so Long I hadn't noticed that i was sat on the sofa, curled up in hoses arms with the boys around me, touching my hands, or rubbing my back, moving my hair out my face and wiping my tears. it was the first time since I had joined the service that I relaxed. I breathed, I was warm.

I don't know how long I cried for, but once I stopped I felt exhausted. my body was limp on hoseok as the other boys got up. "You look like you haven't eaten properly in days" Jin stands up, "so you better eat every last inch of my spicy chicken noodles okay young lady?" I look up at him with a tiny smile and nod. "Of course..." I mumble quietly. "I have a spare jumper, its super big and really warm" hoses offers, looking at my brother for approval. He nods and moves closer to take me in his arms. "Lets get you into some warmer comfier clothes yeah?" He speaks softly as if I could break again any moment while gently running his fingers though my hair. I melt into my brothers care, snuggling into his chest like I was a small child again. He picks me up and carries me to their room, placing me gently on the bed and taking hosoek's jumper off him to hand it to me protectively. They give me some privacy to get changed, it felt weird to put clothes on other than my uniform. Immediately I meted into the softness of his jumper, it was so warm and gentle against my broken skin that I just sit on joon's bed and snuggle further into the warmth, pulling the sleeves past my hands and resting them over my chin.
