TW: Slight panic attack

The next owners of the house were, interesting.

They put a lot of plants in my room.

They would always fight.

And they never cleaned my mirror.

I missed the lady.

Roman POV:

I smiled at a now sleeping Virgil. I quickly changed out of my tear stained clothing and into my pajamas. Then, I carefully got into the bed beside him, careful not to wake him. I was about to close my eyes when I saw him twitch. Suddenly wide awake, I looked to see what was bothering him. His face looked like he was frightened and he was just laying on my bed, twitching. Carefully, I pulled him onto my lap and held him tight.

"No, no please, leave me alone..." He mumbled. I gazed at him. I was going to help him.

"Hey, hey, shhh, Virgil, it's alright, ok? I'm here, and you're safe. He can't hurt you." I reassured. He was still twitching. I thought back to the calming songs Maddie played when she was nervous.

I sang in an attempt to calm him.

I feel like a six out of ten

I've gotta get up early tomorrow again

What goes on behind the words?

Is there pity for the plain girl?

Can you see the panic inside?

I'm making you uneasy, aren't I?

What goes on behind the words?

Is there pity for the plain girl?

He cut me off at the after the last line.

"R-Roman?" He said groggily.

"Yes?" I eagerly responded. He didn't reply and instead hugged me tighter.

"Goodnight my sweet prince." I whispered.

~~~{ Time Skip }~~~
I woke up to a small figure clinging onto me. I chuckled slightly at the sight of Virgil's face. He looked so cute.
"Come on, Virgil, you've gotta wake up." I whispered into his ear. He mumbled some incoherent words and opened his eyes.
"Huh?" He said, obviously tired. I rolled my eyes fondly and pushed his bangs out of his eyes.
"We've got to wake up, Virge." I whispered. He groaned and rolled over.
"Virgil~" I sang. He groaned louder and buried his head into my t-shirt. I fought back the rising heat in my face and lifted his torso up.
"Come on. You can't sleep forever." I grumbled. He sighed and looked at me.
"But Roman." He said. I tutted at him and got up.
"I'm tired." He continued.
"So am I, your point?" I retorted. He sighed and slithered off of the bed.
"What was that song you were singing last night?" He asked.
"It's called 6/10. Ishi's best friend, Dodie wrote it. It's good, isn't it?" I replied. He nodded and hummed something. It was at that moment when we were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" I yelled, causing Virgil to flinch. Cursing myself, I walked over to him and gave him a reassuring hug.
"It's Maddie." Came a voice from the other side. I got up and opened the door.
"Hey Mad, what's up?" I asked.
"No-ting, I was just wondering if you were going to go to school today?" She replied. I glanced back to Virgil, who was still recovering from the yelling.
"Uh, maybe not today? I promise I'll go on Monday, but I think we might also need to sign Virge up, too." She nodded and turned to walk downstairs.
"Ok, I'll let the school know and tell them about Virgil. Waffles will be ready in a few minutes. Also, you two make an adorable couple. Bye!" She said, sprinting down the stairs at the last part. I felt the blood rise to my face as I turned back to Virgil. He was staring at me with a shocked look in his eyes.
"Uh..." He began. I shrugged, not wanting to get anymore embarrassed, and sat down next to him.
"How about we watch Disney movies? I have all of them on my laptop!" I said. He nodded.
"Ok. I did enjoy Snow White, so I wonder what the rest are gonna be like." He responded. I smirked at him and grabbed my computer from my bedside table. We got under the duvet and started the first movie.
