8 Years Later
Virgil POV
I took a deep breath and walked up to the door.
He couldn't hurt me anymore.
Maddie pushed it open for me and whispered something as I slowly walked out.
'What was that, Virgil? Do you want me to keep going?'
"Good luck!"
I have left one prison, only to fall right into another one.
As I walked into the room, everyone turned to stare at me.
One day, the lady was in the bathroom when someone else stumbled in.
And for once, I didn't mind.
'YOU WILL REGRET EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER DONE, VIRGIL'
As I walked down the aisle, I saw many familiar faces.
The lady was back.
Patton and Logan, Remi and Piper, Emile and Remy.
I closed my eyes as he pushed me away from him.
And at the front, Kathleen and Paul.
"Thank you..."
And at the altar, was Roman
I don't want to remember the rest of that evening.
My Roman
I had saved her.
I walked up to him and the priest started the ceremony
She found him, dead.
"Do you, Roman Prince, take Virgil Sanders to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
They put a lot of plants in my room.
"I do." He said, looking at me with loving eyes
Had I done that?
"And do you, Virgil Sanders, take Roman Prince to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
There were gunshots from downstairs.
"I do." I whispered.
I missed the lady.
"Then I now pronounce you, husband and husband. You may now kiss the groom."
He was gone.
That kiss made all of my suffering worth it.
