Virgil and Roman walked among the tombstones. After a while, they found the one they were looking for.

Virgil Sanders

1931-1947

It was not his time

Roman chuckled and put a bouquet of flowers down on the tomb.

"You think that we should ask them do remove it?" He asked his partner. Virgil chuckled slightly and shook his head.

"Nah. That would just raise a lot of questions that even we don't know the answer to." He replied. Roman nodded in understanding and examined the grave next to it.

Damien Wilson

1928-1951

They both stared at the tombstone for a while before Virgil sat down next to it.

"I never knew what happened to him after I left." He whispered.

"I mean- I knew that he had died shortly after, but I never knew what happened to his remains." He quietly continued. Roman sighed and sat down next to him.

"It's all over now, love. You're fine." He murmured. They sat in silence for a few minutes before a voice behind them interrupted the silence.

"Excuse me, what are you doing in front of his grave?"

The pair spun around to see a man in a red shirt with a yellow star on it.

"O-oh, I'm sorry, we were just visiting and-" Virgil stammered. He cut himself off when he realised that the stranger had a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"Who are those for?" Roman asked. The man rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand and chuckled slightly.

"Well, it's stupid really, but the man, Damien Wilson, he was my great uncle. And, well, I've always felt bad the person he murdered, Virgil Sanders, so I like to give him flowers..." He trailed off when he realised that Virgil was crying.

"Um, are you ok?" He asked hesitantly. Virgil nodded and dried his tears.

"I'm Thomas, by the way. Thomas Sanders. It's ironic really, I have the same last name as well, Virgil..." He murmured. Roman chuckled slightly and stuck out his hand.

"Well, I'm Roman Sanders, and this is my husband, Virgil Sanders." He said. Thomas took his hand and shook it.

"Virgil Sanders?" He asked. Virgil nodded and shook his hand.

"The same one the he..." Virgil whispered. There was silence for a few moments before Thomas spoke up.
"Well, I can tell that there's a story to tell. My house is only a few minutes walk away if you would like to come over?" He declared. Roman nodded and took Virgil's hand.

"Alright then, where does this story begin?" Thomas asked. Virgil chuckled and tightened his grip on Romans hand.

"Well, it all started one day..."
