I didn't know where we were going, but it was a few hours out. It ended up being a very secure and hidden house in the woods.

"River, if you really wanted some private time, you could have just said so." I smirked.

She backhanded me. "This isn't about you hormonal needs, it's about knowing your family. Follow me, and don't make this blow up in our faces."

We got out of the car and walked toward the house. She knocked, me holding her hand behind her. A few moments later, a woman answered the door. "River? Who is this?"

"Long story short, Laura, meet Cooper, Cooper, meet your mother Laura." She said quickly.

This is my mother? Lila and Nathaniel appeared in the doorway, hugging me. "Haha, I win. I knew it. Pay up Nathan." Lila cheered.

"How?!" Nathan cried in anguish, but paid her nonetheless.

"I know things that you don't." She smirked.

"Li, if you knew, why didn't you tell me?" I wondered.

"Because, you don't remember. Your memory was wiped of our family. Plus, with Dad and Tony trying to track you down, it didn't seem appropriate." Okay, didn't expect that.
