Chapter 20

When I woke up the next day the doctor came and checked how I was doing I was still in pain and still a bit out of it he said I have to stay in hospital for another week maybe more depends I how am in week which I wasnt happy about.

The next week in hospital dragged but Jade came nearly everyday when she had time in between work and Uni. Leigh-Anne came everyday after uni sometimes on her own sometimes with Jesy and Zayn. I'm so glad that me and Leigh-Anne are still good friends if anything we've got closer in the past week, yeah it still hurts but i've got Jade now.

It was Monday and in the afterrnoon the doctor came in and did a full check on me making sure I was 100% okay to go home, luckly he was happy and said I could go home but that to rest and if anything is to come straight back in, he said i'll be in my leg cast for at least another 3-4 weeks and that I had to use crutches.

I rang Jade to get het to pick me up but she couldnt said she was working but she said she would get Leigh-Anne or Jesy to come and pick me up. I would be lying if I wasnt a slight bit disappointed but she cant just sack work off for me. About an hour later Leigh-Anne and Zayn walked through the dooor, these two have been hanging around together quite a bit recently I was meant to ask Leigh-Anne a few times but i forgot Ill have to ask her when shes alone.

Zayn packed my bag and carried it while Leigh-Anne helped me stand up, its gonna take me a while to get used to using these crutches, it did hurt my ribs a bit but nothing I couldnt handle. We got in the car Leigh-Anne driving and headed back to Uni. When we got to my dorm Zayn opened the door and as I hobbled in I froze and I could feel my mouth drop. The lights in the room were dimmed with candles on giving the room a romantic feel and there was some nice mellow music on in the background and stood infront of the sofa was Jade looking amazing I couldnt believe my eyes. I had realised that Zayn and Leigh-Anne had left until Jade walked over to me grabbing my bag.

"hey" she beamed kissing me on the check. I could feel myself blush.

"h-hi"

She walked to my bedroom and put my bag on my bed and it was then that I realised that there was a little picnik set up infront of the sofa with rose pettles scattered around.

"here let me help you sit down" Jade said as she walked back over to me helping me to the sofa and helping me sit down on the floor.

"what is all this" I asked

" well we havent had a first date yet well unless you count the film dates in the hospital and I thought since you were coming home I could kill two birds with one stone, why dont you like it"

"I love it" I smiled

"I thought you were at work"

"yeah I lied, I wanted to do this for you and if I came and picked you up then I wouldnt have had time and it wouldnt have been a surprise"

"hmm well I'll let you off then" I smiled.

We sat and ate the food, which happened to be all my favourite foods. We talked about Uni and our home lives etc. The more I find out about her the more I'm drown in we dont have as much in common as me a Leigh-Anne but I dont care. After we ate Jade helped me up and sat me on the sofa sitting next to me on my left holding me hand.

"that was so lovely" I smiled

"i'm glad you liked it"

"i loved it"

"good"

I looked into her eyes and lost myself in them there so beautiful the light hitting them perfectly. I felt myself lean in and saw Jade lean in too until our lips touched setting fireworks off in my stomach. We havent actually kissed since that time I was with Leigh-Anne. Our lips moved in perfect sync with each other sending me into a daze. I didnt want to stop but with the condition Im in if I didnt I would probably pass out. My heart was beating so fast.

"wow" was all I could say

"I know" Jade said.

"so i'm guessing were together then" Jade asked

"if you want"

"of course"

"okay then yeah"

I cant believe it Jade is my girlfriend how have I been so lucky first Leigh-Anne now Jade. We put on a film as i snuggled into Jade. Near the end of the film I could feel myself falling asleep and all I could think about was the kiss and how it differed from Leigh-Anne.

Next thing i know I was awoken by the light streaming through the window, it took me a few minutes to figure out where I was, I was in my bed, how did I get here? I managed to get out of bed and hobble to the living room. When I got there I saw Jade in the kitchen, It was like deja vu from the first morning me and Jade were both here.

"morning babe" she smiled walking over to be and pecking me on the lips.

"morning"

"here sit down i've made you breakfast I cant stay thought got class" she said leading me to the sofa bringing me my breakfast.

"ill see you later okay" she said kissing me again and leaving.

I sat on the sofa eating my breakfast and put the tele on, im so bored already. A few hours past when the dorm door opened revealing Leigh-Anne.

"hey you" she smiled sitting next to me.

"hey" I smiled back.

"how you doing"

"yeah not to bad thanks stil abit sore but coping, you?"

"yeah i'm good thanks" she beamed.

We sat there and watched abit of tele for a while and then I remembered there was something I wanted to asked her.

"so... you and Zayn?" I winked at her.

"erm what about me and Zayn" she blushed.

"i'm not stupid I see the way you look at him and you've been hanging around with him a lot recently"

"I er I.."

"you can tell me yano" I urged

"okay fine yeah were dating, He was there for me when we split up and when you were in hospital he would hardly leave my side I was a right mess and I started to like him and he started to like me so we thought we would give it a go" she said looking at her hands.

"that is so cute,i'm happy for you but dont expect me to take sides" I joked, she laughed

"you hungry" she asked

"yes" I said a bit to loudly, she laughed and went to the kitchen and got us some food. She came back and we ate our food and got comfy on the sofa as I cuddled into her. I miss times like this with Leigh-Anne but ive got Jade and I couldnt be happier.

We carried on watching tele for a bit I couldnt help but think Leigh-Anne and Zayn I would have never put them two together but if they make each other happy thats all that matters.
