Chapter 38

Graduation Day

The day has finally arrived todays the day I graduate. I cant believe it these past two years have been such a rollacoster I never thought I would make it to this day and I have...with Jade by my side. The past few months have been amazing its starting to feel like nothing ever happened even though it did. Me and Jade are stronger then ever shes propa trying to make it up to me whether it be the little things like breakfast in bed or buying me things. Ive told her she doesnt have to do it but she wont listen.

"hey beautiful" she said as she walked in to my room. We thought it would be for the best if we stay where we are in seperate dorms.

"hey you" I said leaning in to give her a kiss, I know ive said it before but it always feels like the first time.

"are you ready"

"ready has I'll ever be" I said taken one look in the mirror making sure my gown as right and stoofd up.

"you look so beautiful" Jade said.

"you dont look to bad yourself" I winked at her.

"funny, come on lets go"

The nerves were starting to kick in now, about 2 weeks ago the principle asked me to do a speech at graduation and I said yes because its a honor but I'm scared ive never been much of a public speaker.

We met Leigh-Anne and Jesy outside Jesy was with Jordan and Leigh-Anne was with Zayn, it was like the whole gang back together again. We all walked to the field were the ceremony was taking place luckily it was a nice warm day.

"right were off good luck guys see you after" Zayn said before he kissed Leigh-Anne and him and Jordan left.

We all took our seats I was said in between Jade and Leigh-Anne. I felt Jade grab my hand.

"your going to be fine I promise" she smiled I just smiled back.

The principle came to the stage and did his thing and handed out our degrees. Once we all sat down he did another speech and now it times.

"now ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce one of our most talented students Perrie Edwards"

I felt Jade squeeze me hand as I stood up and made my way to the stage. There are so many people I swallowed the lump in my throat. I looked at JAde and she smiled make me smile the nerves started to fade a little.

"Hello everyone, I dont really know where to begining. I came here 2 years ago and Im not going to lie i was scared because I had to start fresh I didnt know anyone but that soon changed" I said looking at Jesy Jade and Leigh-Anne.

"Ive learned so much in these past 2 years more then I ever thought I would not just about music but about myself and i'm sure alot of you have as well. Thats what I believe University is about it teaches you valuable life lessons and heps you find yourself, University gives us friends that we will keep for the rest of ours lifes and it only takes one person, if its the right person to change you" I said looking at Jade.

"Today we all sit here as graduates and you all should be proud of yourselves because I sure am. Its been the hardest 2years of my life but I wouldnt change it for the world. I've always known what I wanted to be and thats sing, thats who I am music is who I am and now I'm one step closer to living my dream. If you have a dream dont wait for it to come to you because thats not how its going to work you need to chase it do everything in your power to live your dreams. Yeah they may be so many times you'll get knocked down but dont let that defeat you, stand back up and carry on. Only you stand in the way of living your dreams so go chase it dont let anything or anyone stand in your way. Take risks, make mistakes thats what life is but live life for yourself no one else"

"today marks the start of a new life for all of us, now its time you go out into the world and show everyone what youve got because life is to short to think about what if's life every day to the full, so congratulations to all of you we made it" I smiled as everyone started to cheer and chuck there hats up in the air. I did it.

A few hours later me Jade Leigh-Anne and Jesy and our families went out for a meal to celebrate and it was amazing, I cant believe how lucky I am these people arent just friends but family. After we all ate all our parents left us to celebrate together.

"what do you want to do" Zayn asked

"what about going to the north beach" Jade said. We all agreed.

We arrived at the beach and the sun was setting it reminded me of the night me and Jade confessed our love about a year ago. Once we sat on the beach Zayn and Jordan set up a little bonfire. Once the bonfire was set up we all sat around the bonfire as I cuddled into Jade as we all talked about how our lifes have changed in the past 2-3 years. Suddenly I felt Jade move I looked up and saw her standing up. She cleared her throat catching everyones attention and then she got down on one knee. My heart started pounding.

"Perrie Louise Edwards, The day I met you I feel in love with you and you changed my life for the better, yes I know I made you life hell and i can never be sorry enough. Your the love of my life there is no one on this earth that I would rather be with I never realised a piece of me was missing until you came along and I felt whole. I've been waiting for you my whole life, no amount of time with you will be long enough but lets start with forever, I wont be surprised if you say no but will you make me the happiest girl in the whole Universe and marry me" she reached in her pocket and pulled out a box and opened it and inside was the most amazing ring I have ever seen.

"y-yes" I smiled.

"yes of course I will" It was a no brainer. She put the ring on my finger and leaned in and kissed me. I could hear everyone cheering.

"I love you" she said

"I love you too"

"awwww Im so happy for you guys" Jesy shrieks as so came over and hugged us everyone following suit.

"this calls for a drink" Zayn said and then shut up"

"I agree" I smiled

"Perrie" Jade looked at me worriedly

"Just one I promise this is time to celebrate I'll be fine i've got you"

"okay"

Zayn went to the car and brought back a bottle of wine and glasses. We all had a drink.

"heres to the beginning of the rest of our lives" I smiled

"To Jade and Perrie" everyone chorused
