"Alice, how are you feeling?" Mom asked me as she entered my room. I looked up to see her smiling widely. How I love my mom.

"I'm okay na po." I answered.

"I see. What are you doing? Ang aga aga you're using phone na agad." She chuckled and sat beside me.

"Just replying to friends' messages mom." I told her.

"You're already sixteen. Not my baby anymore." She kissed my temple. I chuckled.

"Mom, I'm still your baby. Age lang yung nagbago." Sabi ko sakanya.

"You still have fever ah!" She commented as she hold my hands.

"Yes but I'm okay na."

The door swung open and my Kuya Jim appeared holding a pillow in his hands. He's already in his uniform.

"Happy birthday sis!" He greeted then throwed the pillow on my face.

"Ahh! Kuya, you're so isip bata! You're already 20 for pete's sake!" I exclaimed.

"Love you! Bye mom!" He shouted before leaving my room. Napailing nalang si mommy sa kapilyuhan ni kuya.

"Mom, yung excuse letter ko." I reminded her. She quickly stood up.

"Ay oo nga pala. Jim!" She called my kuya.

"Yes!" I heard my kuya answered and entered my room again.

"Idaan mo yung excuse letter ni Jia sa pinsan mo."

"Sinong pinsan? Ang dami nila." He asked.

"Kairon." Mom answered.

"K!" He nodded and then left the room again.

"Sleep again, you sweet sixteen. I know you haven’t gotten any sleep since yesterday night." She kissed me on my forehead before leaving me alone in my room.

I get my phone and reread Jordi's message asking if they still have training after class. What would I say? I don't know?

Kasi naman, if I didn't lied about my identity, it wouldn't be like this. Sa dinami dami ba naman ng names na I can say, bakit si coach pa yung naisipan ko.

Pero I don't have balak naman talaga to text him baka mahalata pa ako na may crush sakanya, kasi bakit ko naman kukunin yung number niya 'di ba?

But Lily, being so makulit, she borrowed my phone that night and texted Jordi a happy birthday without me, knowing about it.

And yes, it wasn't me who texted Jordi, it was Lily.

I chose to leave Jordi's message on seen. Alangan naman sabihin ko na hindi ko alam.

I remember the time when I was about to tell him the truth. But I was scared that he might get mad at me. I really looked like an idiot typing like a jejemon. Using "jejejeje" rather than "hehehehe".

I placed my phone back at the top of my bed side desk and slept.

"Dous! Wag mo naman daganan, kita mo nang may lagnat!" I heard someone say. As I opened my eyes, yun ko lang naramdaman yung bigat ng pakiramdam ng iwan ng taong mahal mo. Charot. Saka ko lang naramdaman yung mga paa ni Dous na nakadagan sa may tiyan ko.

"Dous ang baho. Ba't ang aga mo naman ata?" I asked. He removed his feet and then sat on the bed. He rolled his eyes. Ang arte talaga.

"Late ka lang talaga, ate Jia." He emphasized the word "ate" talaga. I looked for my alarm clock. I quickly stood up when I found out na it's already 6 pm na pala! Geez. I was sleeping for 10 hours na pala.

"Hala! Where's your teammates? Did they eat na?" I asked.

"Mas mahal mo pa talaga sila kaysa saamin ha." Dous pouted, sometimes I think bakla to e!

"Lily, where's Kat?" I asked Lily, who's standing by the door.

"Baba. Okay ka na ba?" She asked. I nodded.

"Kanina pa kayo?" I asked again.

"Yes, gutom na nga ako." Sagot naman ni Aldous.

"Go down. I'll just get ready fast. Dapat kumain na kayo or you should've just woke me up." I told them and then went to the bathroom. I did a quick shower then wore my usual outfit. I don't care if I have bisita. This is what I want. I wore my big sized shirt and then maong shorts. I didn't even bother to comb my hair.

"Felicita, ba't ka naman naligo?!" My grandmom half shouted when she saw me walking down the stairs. How I hate that name!!! And sinigaw pa talaga ni lola ah. Yes, I'm Jianna Alicia Felicita T. Padrigao. Oh so haba ng name.

"Felicita, bilisan mo naman, gutom na gutom na ako." Aldous added habang natatawa. He knows I hated that name. I walked down faster and I was stunned to see that broccoli haired guy sitting next to my kuya Forth.
