Bago ako lumabas, i went to the bathroom to check out my face. Naglagay ako ng powder saka pinagdaanan ng kamay ang buhok para maayos.

"Where are you going, anak?" Dad asked. Since my brother's breakdown, my parents started making up to each other.

"Outside lang po." I answered and he nodded.

"Pupuntahan niya kasi si kulot." Sabi ni Kuya Jim, habang nakatingin sa kuko.

"What?" I asked.

"Wala, dun kana. Naaasiwa ako sa mukha mo!" If he wasn't a boy, i would have thought of him being pregnant at ako iyong pinaglilihian niya.

Dad shook his head out of disbelief kay kuya.

I went out para puntahan iyong kulot. Nakasuot siya ng cargo shorts atsaka plain gray shirt, and gucci slide slippers.

I rolled my eyes on him, he ruffled his curly hair. Biglang nag pop out sa utak ko yung sa CC niya.

"Straight ka ba?", I asked, suppressing my laugh.

He rolled his eyes saka ako tumawa ng malakas.

"Tapos kana?" He asked after I stopped laughing.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" I asked back.

"Pwede ba akong magpasama?"

"Where?"

"Mall."

"Anong gagawin?"

"What do we do pag pumupunta ng mall?" He answered, ang sungit.

"Grabe naman, magpapasama na nga lang magsusungit pa?" I fired back.

"Wait here, I'm gonna change." I told him when he did not answer.

"Okay na yang suot mo. We're just gonna buy gifts." Sabi niya.

"Okay but let me tell my parents first." Sabi ko saka pumasok sa loob para mag paalam.

"Kuya," I called, "Saan si Mommy?"

"Kitchen." He answered, but before I could even turn my back, he talked again.

"Papasukin mo daw muna si kulot, nagluto si mommy." I just ignored him saka dumiretso sa kitchen.

"Aalis po ako, but i'll be back din naman agad." I told Mommy.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Mall po. I'm with Jordi, sasamahan ko lang bumili ng gifts." I said.

"Let him in." Sabi niya.

"Po?"

"Papasukin mo muna." She repeated.

"Ok."

I went out then told Jordi to come in, he was hesitant at first pero sumunod din naman.

We are sitting at our family table. Magkatabi kami, no one's talking. This is awkward.

"Eat first." Sabi ni Daddy kay Jordi.

"Thank you po."

"Eat fast so we can leave agad." I whispered to him. He nodded and started eating.

"San kayo pupunta?" Kuya Jim asked.

"Mall." I answered.

"Anong gagawin nyo dun?" He asked again.

"Gonna buy gifts." Sagot ko.

"Hanggang anong oras?" He asked once more.

"Jim, stop." Dad interrupted.

"Please be home before 8, okay?"

"Yes, sir." Jordi answered then smile.

"Can we leave na?" I asked them.

As soon as we get out, I laughed.

"You looked so nervous kanina!" I laughed again. He just shook his head and opened the car, and there I saw kuya Juan sleeping.

"Hoy, bakit nandito si Kuya Juan?" I asked him with my brows furrowed.

"Then who'll drive?" And I was stunned for a moment. Oo nga 'no.

"You should've told me, we could've invited him in too." Sabi ko kay Jordi.

"He's sleeping." He answered while tapping his brother's shoulder.

"You're here na pala." Kuya Juan said as soon as he opened his eyes.

"Yeah, obviously." Jordi answered sarcastically. Ang sungit talaga.

Pag dating namin sa mall, dumiretso agad kami sa bilihan ng regalo. I asked him kung ano ba ang bibilhin, but he told me to choose things that I like. So I did.

Hindi naman ako abuso so I just got 2 big sized shirts even tho may gusto talaga akong kunin na teddy bear.

It was so cute like as in super! It's cute but the price is not. Naisip ko kasi na Jordi will pay for it using his own money. Kaya ayun lang kinuha ko.

"Is that it?" Jordi asked. I nodded, smiling from ear to ear.

"Para saan ba 'to?" Tanong ko habang inaabot ko sakanya yung dalawang t-shirt na napili ko.

"That's for the girl i'll be courting, so since you have the same size naman... I think this will fit her." He answered.

"Ah."

Okay, wow. Great. Ang assuming ko. After niyang bayaran, he asked na pumunta muna sa timezone but I insisted to go home.

I wasn't talking hanggang sa makarating kami sa bahay. I answer questions pero that's only it. Ang sakit kaya nun!

I just told them na napagod ako kakalakad, kahit na nagpunta lang naman kami sa gift shop tapos balik kaagad sa kotse.

"Thank you." I nodded.

"Yeah, you're welcome. Ingat kayo pauwi." I told him, he smiled and ruffled my hair.

"Good night."
