-~-~-~-This is Crystal's schedule-~-~-~-
I sighed as the curtains were almost thrown open and someone ran out on to my balcony. "Crissy!" Someone began to shake me over and over. "Ugh! What!" The ground below me shook as I glared at Tiga. She just laughed as she held out her hand. "Come on we need to go to school." I groaned loudly as Tiga lifted me up from the balcony floor and dragged me back into my room so I could get changed.
I walked down the stairs as Tiga leaped over the railing. She landed on all fours, like a cat. "Tiga! How many times do I have to tell you not to do that?!" Speaking of cats, Tiga's mother stomped over to her daughter. If looks could kill, Tiga would be dead right now. A few times over. "Sorry, mom but I'm in a hurry!" I rolled my eyes before walking into the kitchen. My own mother was calmly cooking at the stove. "Hey, Mom." She barely acknowledged me as she continued cooking, only giving a faint nod. I picked up my lunch bag and tapped my mother on her shoulder. Making sure I wasn't in her blind spot. She jumped and her entire right arm shifted into some sort of translucent light blue gem that was so see-through that I could see my mother's bones. "Oh, hello Crystal, I didn't hear you come in." She gave me a sheepish smile while straightened out her arm. It slowly changed back to normal before returning to her attention back to cooking...Fish? An entire fish. Eyes and all. I recoiled quickly and raised my eyebrows at my mother. "Um, mom?" She looked at me from the corner of her eye. "Fish? For breakfast?" She snorted while sliding the, now done fish into a container. "It's for Tiga. Stitch was making it for her until Falcon woke up. Not my idea. I'm just finishing it." I groaned inwardly as Mom put the container of fish into a spare lunch bag. "Dusk, Mom. Dusk." She smirked before handing me Tiga's lunch. My nose wrinkled in disgust. "She is too much like a cat! I swear she would eat it raw if we let her." My mother had a mischievous smirk on her face before turning away. "Grab Tiga and run to school. You have already missed the bus." I swore heavily as I grabbed Tiga's lunch. "Tiga! Shift! We are late!" Tiga ran over to me and shifted into a ginger cat with white stripes. I picked her up and sprinted out of the house. "BYE!"
I was so thankful I got my father's speed as I sprinted the seventeen miles to our school. The scenery was a messy blur as kept running. When I saw the statue I let out a breath of relief as I collapsed to the ground. We made it to school. "Wow, I think we made it before the buses. I think that is a record." What. I looked up and saw the buses in the distance. As well as the carnage that I had caused in my wake. "Ah, fudge." Trees uprooted, windows were broken, a few car alarms were going off as well. "Mom is going to kill me." Tiga just laughed as her tail waved back and forth before shifting back to a human. "Come on. Get up." I panted a bit as I stood. My lungs burned while I learned on Tiga. I may have had my fathers speed but not his stamina. "Do you need water?" I looked over and saw Circuit holding out an unopened water bottle. He was a tall yet thin boy with silver hair and pale green eyes. If I remember right, he could hack into any system just like his mother. "Ya, thanks. Haven't seen you in a while, Wires." I elbowed him a bit as took the water bottle. He blushed at the nickname as I unscrewed the top and chugged it. "I saw you on Thursday."
We all looked up at the metal monument. It had each of our parents. Circuit's mother had a wide smile and looked like she was waving while my mother was looking tall and foreboding. Like the General that she was. While Tiga's parents had conflicting emotions on their faces. One looked permanently pissed with her arms crossed while the other looked kind with her hands out like she was expecting a hug. Tiga growled a bit as she looked away from the hunk of metal. "Why do they even have that shit. Not like they did anything important." We just staired at her before I sighed. "They didn't tell you?" She shook her head. Before I could inform her, I was smacked by a pair of wings. "Oof!" "Get out of my way." Missy. I stood my ground as I glared at her. She flapped her blueish silver wings at me. As a form of intimidation. "Listen here, Missy! There is plenty of room for you and your big ass to walk past without hitting anyone!" I could feel my skin hardening as the air became stiff. She just rolled her eyes. "Ya right. You and your group were taking up all the room!" She sneered at us with her nose turned up. I looked around and saw that we were literally taking as little space as three people could. "No, we weren't!" Missy rolled her eyes again as she looked up at the statue. "Honestly, why was it your parents that got recognition? All they did was murder a bunch of people." My eyebrow twitched as my skin turned blue. "I̵̲͊ͅt̶̞͌̈́ ̷̲͑w̷̖̑̈́ä̴̧́s̸̲̀ ̵̬̃͊ṁ̵̺o̸͈̓͆r̶̯̩͊̓ẽ̶̗ ̸̻͐͌͜t̴̅ͅh̶̘̣̽a̴͕̫̔n̸̛͖͑ ̴̗͖̃t̷̻͛͋h̵̛͉̞͝ä̶͖́̾ͅt̸̠̊̈́ ̷̥̈́a̵̞͑ͅn̶̨͘̚d̶͕̤̃ ̶͖̎͘ỵ̵͑ȍ̸͉̗̔ǘ̶̜̤͐ ̵̳̹͆̐k̸̹͔̆̀n̷̺͜͝o̶͈̲̿w̴̰̬̐̎ ̶̣̠̋t̵͔̒h̴̲̠̃͑ä̵̤́͝ť̸̫̅!̴̯̀" Missy didn't react but Tiga and Circuit did. They each grabbed one of my arms and began dragging me into the building to calm down. "Are you ok, Crissy?" I growled slightly as I slowly changed my entire body back to normal. "Y̸e̸s̵,̶ ̸I̵'̴m̷ ̵f̷i̸n̶e̶.̸ ̴I̶ ̷w̷a̶n̸t̴ ̸t̶o̴ ̸r̴i̶p̷ ̸h̸e̸r̵ ̴t̵h̵r̶o̴a̶t̸ ̵o̴u̵t̵ ̶t̶h̶o̴u̸g̴h̶.̷." Tiga looked at Circuit before looking back at me, a little helplessly. I sighed as I rubbed my throat a bit. Focusing my vocal cords to change back first before repeating that I was fine. "Geez, you really need to talk more in that...Form." Tiga placed her hands on her hips while Circuit just kinda stood there. Though they both appeared shaken by my sudden transformation. "Sorry. She just rubs me the wrong way." I rubbed my arm as it slowly changed back. They both understood. Missy was a spoiled brat that had enough pull in the school to make me pissed. Just because her mother was the Principle. "Come on. Let's get to class before the bell rings."
