Life isn't fair.

    I stared at my school. It looked as good as new, except it was a bit higher than it once was and there were some new cracks here and there. "Whoever made this building should get a flipping metal." I walked on to the school grounds and I instantly felt uneasy. Every ounce of blood drained out of my face as I saw puddles of some sort of red liquid decorating the concrete. "Oh god. Is that-" I knelt and examined the liquid without touching it. It was most certainly blood.  'Did someone get hurt?!' I followed the trail cautiously. No telling, what or who it would lead to.

I stood silently in front of the female locker room. The trail leads inside the girl's locker room. Weird but ok? I pushed open the door and walked in slowly. Not sure what to expect. But a partially naked woman with long dark gray hair was most definitely not on the list. Luckily her hair was long enough to keep her modist and she had her back facing me but she was still unclothed. I quickly averted my eyes. "Excuse me? Madam?" There was a sudden sound of thunder before a lightning bolt shot out for me. I dove out of the way in time for it to hit the wall behind me but it felt like it was a warning shot than anything else. 'Definitely a Majinx. Gods why can't I meet a nonmagical person! is that too much to ask!?' I looked at the lady, I could see her face. She had scars all around her neck. As if she had been chained like an animal. Would explain her hostility. Her eyes were stormy gray with a faint blue rim and they looked unfocused. 'Had the lightning blinded her?' I took a step forward. "Hi." She scrunched her face up in disgust. "I know, I just don't know how to deal with a situation like this." I looked up at the ceiling. Strom clouds were hanging above my head. Likely ready to strike if I made a threatening move. "Uh. Can you talk?" I looked at the woman. She frowned before tilting her head. "I'm going to take that as a-" "Tak?" I jumped, her voice was gravelly and had a strange accent to it. 'She must be from one of the other countries. I doubt she understands me.' I looked at her before sighing. 'I don't know what her original language is.' I held up my hands before approaching her. "Do you understand my language?" She frowned before muttering something under her breath. "K-kina?" I hummed as I watched her. "You need clothes, hold on." I turned to my locker and pulled out my gym outfit. "Here." She stared at my clothes before hesitantly taking them from me. I looked away while she attempted to put on the, probably too small, clothes. She yelps suddenly before there was a heavy thud. "Are you ok?!" I turned around and saw her on the floor with the shirt wrapped around her head. She had managed to get the pants thankfully. "Hold on, hold on, let me help." I helped adjust the shirt until it was on properly. Now that I was closer to her I saw a few fresh cuts on her feet and more than a dozen thin scars covering her wrists and ankles. It didn't look like self-harm. As soon as she got her head free from the cloth prison, making large rips in the neck hole, she snarled at me. I held my hands where she could see and backed up. Satisfied, she started fussing with the sleeves. I let her be and watched her rip my gym clothes up to make it fit better. 'I'm so glad I like baggy clothes.' The pants fit her fine while the shirt needed to be ripped in several places. "Oook, what do we do now?" I flexed my fingers a bit out of sheer boredom. "What's your name? I'm Crystal Stone." She perked up at my name. "P-Petri-chor." I frowned, was something lost in translation? Then I looked up at the clouds. Petrichor, a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather. 'It does seem to fit her kinda well. It looks like she can manipulate the weather.' "Stone." I looked at her while she was staring intently at me. Petrichor pointed at me, with a strange look. "Stone? Dia?" Dia? I have no idea what to do. 'Maybe mom will know?' I stood up and pulled out my phone. After fussing with my contacts I found my mother's and dialed. I paced back and forth while I waited for my mom to probably wake up. There was a click and a heavy sigh. "Crystal, this has better to be good." My mother sounded tired. "Ah, w-well, I found someone at the school. And uh, she doesn't understand me very well." She sighed again before something shuffled on the other end. "Fiiiine, I'll be over there soon. Don't let them go anywhere. You owe me a coffee. And liquor." I chuckled awkwardly. "Ah right, you're underage. Fuck it you owe me coffee little missy." She hung up and I stared at my phone. "Now we wait."

I paced back and forth, waiting for my mother to show up. It had only been twenty minutes, so she should be here any minute. Petri watched me slowly, her eyes still held a bit of distrust. The sound of the locker door makes us jump. "Honestly, why is your school so weird." My mother sighed as she appeared from around a corner. The crystals in her hair glowed faintly in the faint light. "So, where is the chick?" I frowned at my mother. "Are you alright?" She shook her head lightly. "No, I'm not, I'd like to get this over with so I can go back to bed." She ran her fingers threw her hair as she sighed. "Oh, ok, follow me please." I bit my lip as I brought my mother to the back of the locker room.

"I'm not sure where she came from, but I think she may be injured. But she doesn't trust me to get closer to her." My mother just hummed every few minutes. Probably not paying much attention. "She is over here." I moved slowly out of the way to let my mother see. My mother's face was unreadable. The other woman's however, looked happy. She stood and started speaking fast in the language I still didn't understand.

~~~Diamond's Pov~~~
I stood sciletly as Petrichor shot up from her seated position. "Diamond! It's so good to see you! I thought you had died!" She was grinning like an idiot. 'Of course, it was her.' I sighed heavily. "Petrichor, what in the ten realms are you doing here!" She blinked before shrugging.  "Don't know really. It, felt like you." Petri turned her so I could see her expression. I pinched the bridge of my nose and groaned. "Why did my daughter have to find you." I looked at crystal who had a near-permanent confused expression on her face. "Crystal, this is Petrichor, The Storm Majinx. We... Know each other." Crystal frowned a bit, knowing I was holding back information. Petri scoffed while rolling her eyes. "What are you even doing that brat. She looks weaker than Stitch." I slammed my foot down, cracking the ground and making the metal lockers groan. "SHE IS MY DAUGHTER, YOU WOULD DO GOOD TO REMEMBER THAT!" Petrichor shrank back out of fear. 'Temper, control your temper.' I took a deep breath as I closed my eyes. "Wow, never thought you would procreate. Willingly." Petri's tone was very childish and clearly hinted at something. Memories flooded my mind before I forcibly ripped myself from them. "Why are you here, Alex." I heard her growl threateningly. "You know I hate that name." The hairs on the back of my neck stood up before I quickly threw up my right arm. Crystalizing it on the way. Lightning shot down onto my arm, being absorbed by my gem. "I am Petrichor Strom NOT-
"Alexandrite Stone?"
