The flowers are blooming.
The bees are out getting their daily dose of nectar.
The streets are full of laughter and horseplay.
The aroma of fresh cut grass floods throughout the neighborhood.
Toothy smiles smother everyone's face.
Friends going on about what they have planned during their much needed relaxation period.
Trying to plan for parties.
Filling the guest list with best friends.
Purchasing snacks and beverages from the flooded grocery stores.
Reminiscing about the stressful year they've had.
Families reunite eating hotdogs and hamburgers.
The beach full of children learning how to fly kites and receiving swimming lessons from their elders.
When the sun falls below the horizon, bonfires are ignited.
Stories being told in great detail as everyone gathers around.
Piercing their spongy white treats with sticks.
Rotating them over the red flames.
The moon introduces itself and brings some buddies.
The stars dance and twinkle in the sky.
Laying in the grass seeing how many constellations they can spot.
Trying to catch the evasive luminescent fireflies.
Everyone slides into their plush pajamas.
Staying awake late at night playing games and chuckling at each others corny jokes.
Too bad it'll be over within a blink of an eye.
