The Encounter (pt. 1)

I take a few steps;
knock on the door,
"Take a deep breath,
there's no need to be stressed."

The door creaks open,
my heart feels like it's frozen,
here is my moment,
I feel like I'm moving in slow motion.

"Do you want to come inside?"
I was lost in her green eyes,
our souls collide,
my tongue is tied.

I reply with a swift, "yes",
my mind was a mess,
nevertheless,
I take a seat on the armrest.

Time had lost its meaning,
my heart was screaming,
am I dreaming?
She smirks, "So, what are we eating?"
