Chapter 2

Marinette, as well as her classmates, is sitting patiently on her own seat. They are all waiting for Alya and Nino to come back. Nino went to the principal's office to ask permission to use the whole day for filming, while Alya went to have a talk to Clara to ask for the Ladybug and Cat Noir outfits.

"Hey, Marinette."

Marinette almost jumped in her seat when Adrien sat beside her. He's smiling at her, making her heart beats fast.

"Oh! He-hey, Adrien! You are how-I mean, how are you?" she awkwardly blabbers. She mentally faced palm herself. She always act like this towards Adrien.

Adrien smiled, brushing his hair with his fingers. "I'm fine," he sighed. "I'm looking forward to acting with you," he said, making Marinette's heart flutters.

"Me too. We can be sweet-I mean cool like Ladybug and Cat Noir. Ha-ha," she replied.

"Oh Marinette. You never change," Tikki sighed while hiding inside Marinette's sling bag.

"You think Cat Noir's cool?" Adrien asked, his voiced laced with hope.

"Of course! Plus the fact that he's punn-perfect," Marinette quickly changed what she's about to say. She almost gave him a clue about her identity. Again!

"Okay," Adrien shrugged, hiding the joy because someone thinks he's cool. "I can't wait to start filming..."

Marinette just nodded her head slowly. She's still worried. She and Tikki had a talk a while ago. She knows she'll be taking risk by doing the movie. She can back down, but she doesn't want to disappoint the whole class. They're all looking forward to her as Ladybug, because according to Adrien, she's their Everyday Ladybug. Marinette's heart still flutters whenever she remembers that Adrien told her that.

When Nino and Alya got back, Marinette tried calming herself down. She actually has an idea. She'll let her hair down, so they wouldn't think she's actually Ladybug.

"Here, wear these," Alya instructed, while she handed both Adrien and Marinette their costumes. "You should change quickly. I want to see the two of you act as soon as possible. Now go."

Marinette quickly went outside their classroom to go to their bathroom. Adrien, who looks like he's in deep thoughts, followed. She didn't attempt to talk to him since he really looks like he's thinking of something important.

When she got inside of one of the cubicles, she immediately got changed. She faced Tikki once she got changed.

"Do you think they will notice?" she worriedly asked while taking her pigtails off. This is the only thing that she thinks that can take their attention off her resemblance to Ladybug.

"Well, I don't think so," Tikki honestly answered with her cute voice. "They'll be more curious why you let your hair down," she added.

"Then I'm safe, I guess," she whispered before leaving the bathroom, carrying her clothes in her left hand.

She didn't wait for Adrien to finish changing. She immediately went back to their classroom. She was shocked to see Adrien there, wearing a different hairsyle. His hair is neatly gelled.

"So cuteeee. You both changed your hairstyles," Rose gushed when she saw Marinette.

Marinette just awkwardly smiled. "So they won't mistake us as the real Ladybug and Cat Noir," she joked, followed by an awkward laugh.

"Of course, they won't mistake you as Ladybug. You're too clumsy to be her. You are ridiculous, utterly ridiculous," Chloé, who's sitting at the teacher's table, insulted her.

Adrien stepped in front of Marinette. "That is rude, Chloé," he scolded her. Chloé just answered her with a scowl.

The whole class just sighed because of Chloè's attitude. They all are used to her rudeness, but they couldn't help but get annoyed with it.

"Okay. This will be the scene," Alix, who is the director, started, "the both of you just finished fighting a villain. You will both part ways since you're about to transform back-"

"So, we have to change into our normal clothes again?" Adrien asked.

"Yes, bro." It was Nino who answered him.

"Then," Alix continues. "After transforming back, you'll be shocked to see another villain, so the both of you need to transform again."

"And I read that Ladybug says, 'Tikki, spots on!' and Cat Noir says, 'Plagg, claws out!' to transform," Alya joined the conversation.

"We will cut the video there and insert a clip of both of you wearing your costumes," Nino finished what Alix and Alya are explaining.

"Okay," Marinette said. Nothing can go wrong, right? They didn't even notice that she looks like Ladybug.

They all headed to the park. They started acting. Everyone was amazed, including Chloé, about how flawless Marinette acted as Ladybug.

Eventually, they cut the video. Marinette and Adrien changed back to their usual clothes before coming back to the park.

"That was a good action, you two."

"Marinette, you looked cool!"

"Adrikins, I'm so proud of you!" Chloé, once again, attempted to kiss Adrien, but he quickly brushed her off. Chloè's attempt made Marinette scowl.

"Someone's jealous," Alya teased her. She just stomped her feet childishly.

"Shouldn't we start to film again?" she asked.

"Oh right," Nino said, putting his self in position. "The both of you knows what to do right? When you both see Kim wearing Dark Cupid costume, yell the words Alya told you." The both just nodded.

"Lights! Camera! Action!"

The both of them started acting. They pretended to be exhausted from a battle. It wasn't hard for them. They feel it almost everyday.

When Kim entered the scene, they knew it was time for them to say the words.

"Tikki, spots on!/Plagg, claws out!"

"Oh no, Marinette. What are you doiiiii-"

And the unexpected happened. Marinette and Adrien really transformed into Cat Noir and Ladybug. They forgot that once they say those lines, they will have to transform.

Everyone gasped after seeing them transformed.

"You...you're the real Cat Noir and Ladybug?" Nino asked sounding shocked.

But no one is as shock as Adrien and Marinette. They never thought they have liked each other's other identity for so long.

"You are...you are Ladybug," Adrien whispered. He was grinning. He's more than happy by the thought that the girl he loves is the same as the girl he's starting to like.

"Yeah..." Marinette mumbled. She couldn't believe that she's been rejecting the love of her life many times already! "I'm sorry if I wasn't as cool as Ladybug in real life."

"Are you kidding me? I'm thankful that it's you!" Adrien admitted and was about to hug Marinette. He stopped midway upon hearing Alya's hurt voice.

"All this time, you are Ladybug, and you didn't bother telling me?" Alya couldn't hide the feeling of being betrayed in her voice. She immediately ran off after saying those words.

"Alya!" Marinette tried chasing her but she already got too far. Marinette started worrying by the fact that Alya might got akumatized again because of her.
