Chapter 3

Ladybug tried chasing Alya. She knew it wouldn't take long for Hawkmoth to notice the negative feeling again and to akumatize her. She just don't want to fight her best friend – who is Rena Rouge at the same time.

But Ladybug is too late. Alya has been akumatized already... No, she isn't Lady Wifi again. She thinks it's worse. She's the evil version of Rena Rouge – but with eyeglasses on.

"This is not good, Mi'lady," Cat Noir, who followed Ladybug, whispered in her ear.

She nodded in agreement. "How I hate illusions," she muttered, remembering how Lila fooled her about Adrien before.

"Don't worry, Mi'lady. I'm purr-fect for this job."

Despite the situation, Ladybug couldn't help but roll her eyes. A day won't really be complete without Cat Noir's pun, she thought.

"We have no time for your pun—whoops!" Evilya attempted to kick Ladybug to make lose her balance but luckily, Ladybug was able to dodge it.

"Are you sure her evil power is illusion?"

"Well, she almost look like Rena Rouge."

Evilya attempted to kick Ladybug again and this time, she succeeded making her lose her balance.

"Hey, not Mi'lady!" Cat Noir yelled.

Evilya laughed—of course, an evil one.

"Give me your miraculous and reveal your identities to everyone," Evilya demanded.

"Alya Let's just talk it out. We don't have to fight like this," Ladybug shouted which Cat Noir immediately agreed to. As much as possible, Ladybug doesn't want to fight his best friend again – even is she's akumatized again.

"I am no longer Alya. Call me Evilya!" she yelled. "Now, you will have to face my skulk of fox," she said. It was soon followed by her evil laugh.

On cue, a dozen of fox appeared in front of Ladybug and Cat Noir.

"Oh, that's easy. Really? You think you can fool us with your illusion?"

Cat Noir threw his baton around the army of fox. But much to his and Ladybug's dismay, it didn't disappear.

"Oh no... Don't tell me it is real..." Ladybug mumbled. Yes, they've encountered many villains already but none of them have foxes nor a power like Evilya.

"Hide behind my back, Mi'lady," Cat Noir told Ladybug but she shook her head, "We need to work on this together."

They started fighting each of the fox. Cat Noir uses his baton while Ladybug uses her Magic yoyo. They're pretty much good at it. Their goal is to cut the fox's head.

When there's only 1 fox left, Ladybug gasped when another dozen appeared.

She, then, positioned herself to fight again.

"Mi'lady, on your back!"

Ladybug successfully got away from Evilya.

"Lucky Chaaaarm!" Ladybug wasted no time. She has to stop Evilya already. She's already exhausted and Cat Noir looks like he is too.

"I really don't understand why your lucky charm gives you random items," Cat Noir commented, still attacking the foxes.

Ladybug didn't answer. She already has a plan on what to do with the string her lucky charm gave her. She's also pretty sure that the akuma is in her eyeglasses.

"Distract her for a while," Ladybug quickly whispered as she ran past Cat Noir.

She, then, tied the end of the strings to each side of the trees in the park. She's sure Evilya won't notice it. It's super thin and almost transparent.

When she's finally finished, she motioned Cat Noir to purposely lead Evilya there.

Her plan worked. Evilya tripped so she was able to take her eyeglasses of. Cat Noir used his Cataclysm and destroyed it.

"Time to deeeeeeeevilize!"

"Miraculous Ladybug!"

"Pound it," Cat Noir and Ladybug smiled while pounding their fists.

Alya, who's already been back to normal, ran away. She's still not ready to talk to Marinette—also known as Ladybug.

"So..." Cat Noir grinned, slowly approaching Ladybug.

"Gotta go!" Ladybug sheepishy said when he's already near. "We don't want to reveal our real identities to the whole Paris, don't we? Bug out!"

Cat Noir just smiled before going back to their classroom to finally transform back without anyone seeing him. Up to now, he still couldn't believe he already knows his Bugaboo's real identity.
