For the past 2 days – weekends – Ladybug/Marinette and Cat Noir/Adrien wasn't able to talk about their feelings as much as they wanted too. They've been too busy fighting villains.
The only thing that Marinette was able to fixed the whole weekend, was her friendship with Alya. They reconciled after having a talk with each other. Nino and Alya also decided to reveal their identity to the class.
"Later, my Kitty! Bug out," Ladybug yelled as she went back to her room.
Cat Noir sighed. He really badly wants to talk to Ladybug. No one should blame him, though. He has been admiring Ladybug for a long time and now that she finally really likes him, he doesn't want to miss it.
Instead of going home after transforming back to Adrien, he decided to visit Marinette at home. He wouldn't let a day pass again without being able to talk to her.
"Good morning, Adrien? Do you need something?" It was Marinette's mom who approached him when he entered the bakery.
Adrien scratched the back of his neck, "Uh, yes. Marinette and I have to work on something," he lied.
Sabine grinned – she's a lowkey shipper of her daughter and Adrien. "She's in her room. I'll check up on you two and bring you freshly made croissants," she told him.
"Thank you!" Adrien yelled as he starts to go upstairs. He knows that the reason why he came here is to talk to the lady of his dreams, but he couldn't help but feel delighted about the croissants.
When he is finally inside Marinette's room, he instantly saw her sitting at her bed as if she's waiting for someone.
"I knew you would come here," she chuckled.
"Of course. May I asked why you're still in that Ladybug suit? Not that I don't like it but..." Adrien chuckled.
Ladybug fumbled her nails. "I figured out that I'll be able to talk to you better when I'm Ladybug. If I'm Marinette, I'll only stutter and mess up," she sighed.
Adrien walked towards her and wrapped his hands around her.
Listen, Mi'lady. No matter who you're dressed up as, you will always be Mi'lady, Princess, and my dream," he said making Ladybug's heart flutters. "Plus, why would you be shy? I'm just the guy who's secretly head over heels for you for so long."
Ladybug smiled. "And wouldn't you want out kwamis to have a chitchat while we talk?" Adrien added.
Ladybug thought for a while. She convinced herself first that she'll talk to Adrien casually before finally transforming back.
"Hi there, sugarcubes," Plagg, who just came out of Adrien's pocket, immediately teased Tikki.
Tikki scoffed, "Stop with the nicknames already!"
Adrien and Marinette both laughed, but they eventually stopped.
"So, what do you wanna talk about?" Marinette nervously asked, scooting closer to Adrien.
"Us," Adrien casually answered. Knowing that Marinette already knows that he's Cat Noir made him as confident as Cat.
Marinette replied, "What do you want us to be?"
"I badly want us to be a couple already. C'mon! I've been rejected by you many times already, Mi'lady. Don't you think it's time for you to finally grant my wish?"
Marinette sighed, "Okay – "
"Yes!" Adrien yelled in triumphant.
"Let me finish, Kitty," she scowled.
"Okay, okay." Adrien settled beside her again.
"We'll be an official couple if you can explain what happened between you and Kagami," Marinetted said with a serious tone.
"Oh..."
