The next following days, Adrien still hung out with Marinette. He couldn't even told her about what his father said. He still ignored Kagami. There were many moments wherein Kagami would approach him and he would just quickly brush her off. He just couldn't stand her—now that he knows he isn't as prim as he thought she is.

It was Friday. Classes were already over but Marinette's whole class decided to stay for a little bit—except Adrien and Kagami. They had to go to their fencing class.

When the two left, the frown never left Marinette's face. She hates the thought of Adrien and Kagami practicing girl.

"Cheer up, girl. Adrien had already proved you that he's loyal to you many times already," Alya told, trying to make her stop worrying. Adrien wouldn't do anything that can hurt him—at least not something she would know.

Marinette gave Alya a smile. "I'm fine."

"Then join our conversation. Alix finally decided to tell us more about her crush," Alya giggled.

"Really?" Marinette asked.

"Yeah."

Marinette started following Alya to where Alix is sitting, but before she can reach her, their classroom's door opened. It revealed Gabriel Agreste and Tomoe Tsurugi.

Marinette, including her classmates, looked at the two with so much confusion in their eyes. What could they possibly doing there? Their children isn't even there.

"Where's Marinette Dupain-Cheng?"

Marinette instantly get nervous upon hearing Kagami's mother voice. She's sure it has something to do about her and Kagami's 'catfight'. Did that girl really have to tell his mother? Marinette didn't even inform her parents about it.

"Yes, Madame?" Marinette politely asked even when she's already trembling a little bit.

"Come here," Tomoe commanded while Gabriel remained silent beside her.

Marinette carefully walked towards her. She is silently praying that nothing will happen to her. Tomoe and and Gabriel are both so scary!

"So, you're the one who hurt my daughter," Tomoe said, mockingly assessing Marinette's appearance. "You probably did that because you are insecure of her charms and beauty. Something you don't have."

Marinette's classmate inhaled sharply. The woman was too harsh on Marinette. She's not even telling the truth. She's just trying to humiliate Marinette.

Gabriel slowly nodded his head. "I a gree with you, Tomoe."

Marinette started looking down. Being humiliated by someone she doesn't even know personally is okay, but being humiliated by her idol and her boyfriend's father is another thing. It's just plain painful.

Alya almost approached Marinette but stopprd on her tracks when Gabriel Agreste sent her a serious look.

"It seems like my son doesn't want to avoid you," Gabriel said. "It will be better if you will be the one to avoid him. You are just ruining his perfect future with Kagami Tsurugi," he even added.

The class scoffed while Marinette's tears started streaming down her faces. Gabriel Agreste's words are just too mean!

"Again, I am telling you to avoid my son. He won't have a good future with you."

Marinette ran away.

She couldn't stand it anymore. She couldn't stand getting humiliated in front of her friends any longer.

She went straight to the park. It hurts. It hurts her knowing that Gabriel doesn't like her for Adrien. It hurtd even more hearing her boyfriend's father telling her that she isn't good for Adrien.

Marinette is aware. She is aware that Kagami is better than her in all aspects. Kagami has everything she doesn't have. And soon, maybe Adrien Agreste will be hers too. After all, she's the one Gabriel Agreste wants for his son.

Marinette cried harder by the thought. It's just a painful day for her.

Btw, is this legit????

If it is, then I srsly dunno what to feel

If it is, then I srsly dunno what to feel. It might be childish for me but I feel bad and insecure for Mari because Kagami will be a hero tooooo. No hate, tho.
