Marinette came home exhausted - emotionally and physically. She immediately went to her room, ignoring her parents' call.
When she got into her room, she immediately fell asleep.

The next day, she went to class early. She immediately approached Nathanaël who's sitting at his seat alone.
"Hey, Nathan, we should start talking about our project," Marinette said. The project's due is on Thursday, so they really had to start doing it. Plus, Marinette decided to distract herself for a while.
"Yeah sure," Nathanaël replied. "It's just a book about reptiles, right?" he asked.
Marinette nodded.
"I was thinking that I'll do the drawing while you write the facts," Nathanaël voiced out.
I nodded my head. "Sure. When do we start doing it?"
Nathanaël and Marinette proceeded on talking about their projects.
Adrien, on the other side, just entered the room. He looks down. He has been attempting to call Marinette last night but she's not picking her phone up.
Adrien also heard that Ladybug had fought a villain alone because he didn't show up - Kagami wouldn't let her go away. Adrien felt guilty but he also felt useless... He knew Ladybug can handle herself without him and it makes him feel bad. Really bad.
After placing his bag on his table, Adrien roamed his head around. He immediately felt a pang in his chest looking at Nathanaël and Marinette. Of course he knew Nathan used to like Marinette - or maybe he still does.
He wanted to approach her but he stopped his self. He's at fault anyway. He didn't even explain to Marinette yesterday.
"Hey there, loverboy," Alya greeted after arriving with Nino.
"Why do you look so down?" Nino asked, but immediately found the answer after looking at where Adrien is looking.
"They're just talking about their project," Alya said.
Adrien sighed, "I know. But I think she's mad at me."
"Give her time. You know how insecure Marinette can be when it comes to Kagami," Alya explained.
Adrien lightly groaned in frustration. "Why does she have to? She's the girl I am smitten with. I even dream about her every night," she frustratingly asked.
"That's so sweet. Go tell that to her," Alya suggested.
Adrien just shook his head. "I'll just visit her later. I'll give her time first."
"Okay," Alya shrugged.
The class started. Kagami arrived. Luckily, she sits far away from Adrien.
Marinette was quiet the whole period. She's okay now, but she's still a little bit mad at Adrien.
"What did you and Nathanaël talked about?" Alya whispered to Marinette. Her question caught Adrien's attention, so she leaned closer to his seat, so that he will be able to hear them.
"We talked about our project. Then we started talking about the Ladybug comics he did with Marc. It's so amazing! He's really good at drawing," Marinette gushed, earning a chuckle from Alya.
Adrien frowned. He is starting to get jealous.

Lunch came, Alya, together with Rose, Juleka, Alix, Mylène, Nino, and Adrien, went to the cafeteria without Marinette. Marinette told the girls that she's working on her project with Nathanaël.
"Where's Marinette?" Adrien asked when it's almost five minutes and Marinette id still not around.
"She's with Nathan." It was Alix who answered.
Adrien lost his appetite. Now, it's he's turn to be jealous. He really have to talk to Marinette now.
