Last: Finally happy

A month had already passed. Everything pretty much improved. Adrien was so much closer to his father. There aren't any villains anymore, but Ladybug and Cat Noir still continue to protect Paris.

"Is this dress fine?" Marinette asked her mother.

"Of course. You look adorable," her mother answered her.

Marinette sighed in relief. She has been getting ready for almost an hour. It is a special day for her. They will be visiting the Agreste's today. Gabriel requested it.

"I'll just go down, Marinette," her mother said. Marinette just nodded, sitting at her bed.

"What do you think, Tikki? Will Mr. Agreste like it?" Marinette asked, showing the outfit he made for Adrien to model.

Tikki nods her head excitedly. "Of course, he will. You did a good job, Marinette," Tikki complimented.

"Thanks," Marinette smiled.

Marinette stayed at her room for another five minutes before her parents finally called her. It is time for them to go.

When they reached the Agreste's home, Nathalie led them to the dining room. Adruen and Gabriel are already there.

The two family greeted each other after placing a container filled with croissaints in front of Adrien.

"It's good to have you here," Gabriel said.

They started eating. Of course, Adrien focused on eating the croissants that Sabine brought.

After dinner, they all decided to spend time at the living room. They talk about some stuffs while watching something from the television.

After a while, Sabine suddenly said, "Marinette brought something."

"What is it, Marinette?" Gabriel asked.

Marinette smiled shyly. "Well...uh...I designed an outfit for Adrien to model and I brought it..."

Marinette handed the paperbag to Gabriel.

Gabriel took it from her. He immediately opened it and and saw a really good outfit.

"You did a good job," Gabriel complimented. "Now, I won't have to worry about Adrien not wanting to be a designer," he added.

"Huh?" Marinette asked confusedly.

"You will manage my business as soon as you and Adrien get married. You are a good designer, Marinette," Gabriel said.

"Dad!" Adrien yelled. He and Marinette are so red. Sabine, Tom, and Gabriel just laughed at them. Even their parents think they are a good couple.

"I am serious, Marinette," Gabriel said.

"Oh, okay..." Marinette said, playing with her hair. She doesn't know how to react.

Later that night, Cat Noir and Ladybug decided to roam Paris to check if someone's in trouble. It was refreshing that they wouldn't have to fight off some villains.

"So, you'll be managing Father's business when we get married, huh?" Cat Noir whispered to Ladybug's ears, clearly teasing her.

Ladybug faced him and scowled. "Stop it. I won't marry you!"

Cat Noir's face fell. Ladybug almost yelled. Of course, she doesn't mean it. Cat's reaction is so funny!

"You won't?" he asked, sounding so down.

Ladybug started laughing, throwing herself him. She kissed him on his nose.

"Of course, I will. I am just kidding. But we still have to wait," Ladybug said.

"It's okay. As long as I'm waiting for you, it will always be fine."

Ladybug smiled. She waited for this day. She waited for the day that everything will be okay and that everyone will be happy...or not.
