chapter 2

My flight was in 2 days. In 2 days I will be getting away from everything in Logan County. All my worries will be gone.

My best friend Carly would be going to the same college. She got the same exact scholarship as me in basketball. The plan is to go down there and stay in an apartment just down in a small town called "Holmes Chapel" since the college is just down the street. It will be way easier on us.

I'm super glad I'll have someone I actually know down there. What about my amazing boyfriend? He's going to college in North Carolina in the fall. We will be miles and miles apart. He was my everything! I lost my fucking virginity to him! I just can't leave him here! I love him for crying out loud. I need him.

2 days later..

I woke up from deep slumber at 6 am. I just realized today is the day I leave for college. My flight was at 9:45 am. So I needed to start getting ready. Trey was going to be here at 8:30 and pick me up and go get carly before he gets me. He will be dropping us off at the airport.

I slipped on a sports bra with Trey's Chapmanville Football Sweatshirt, with some comfy sweat pants. It smelled just like him. Gosh, I'm going to miss him.

I walked down stairs and there stood my grandparents and my brother Braxton. Trey was waiting outside with Carly in his truck.

"We are going to miss you Zoe. We made sure there is plenty of money in that back account. We have everything settled. There will be a taxi at the airport in London waiting for you. We really hope you have a great time there! Make good grades. We love you sweetheart..." I felt tears roll down my cheeks. I embraced them with a warm hug. I smiled. "I love you guys!"

I lowered down to my brothers standards and he said, "I'm gonna miss yew sissy.". "Awh, I'm gonna miss you too bubby."

That's when I started bawling. I grabbed my bags and turned around. My new life begins now. I can finally restart everything that happened these past 5 years.

I hugged them all again and walked outside and jumped in shotgun.

We finally got to the airport and I had to say goodbye to my love. Trey grabbed my things and Carly followed behind us. We walked over to the departure area and he layed my things down. It was time to say goodbye again.

"Trey I will miss you so much. You are everything to me. I know this means we can't really be together anymore. I'll be gone for 8 months! We can stay friends." Trey started tearing him and he looked down at his feet and pulled me closer. "I love you so much Zoe. You better show that college how great of a student/athlete you are. I know we need to move on and it kills me to say that. Please, just never forget about what we had. cause it was special." He simply put his hand on my cheek and we kissed for a long time. "Goodbye babe. I love you! Take care of my family." "I love you baby. have fun."

And we walked through the gates. Carly and I boarded our 14 hour flight.

"Zoe, if you need anything let me know, okay? You're my best friend. I love you, now get some rest."

"thanks Car. I appreciate it."

and with that I fell asleep.

17 hours later

We finally arrived to our small flat at Holmes Chapel. It is way nicer than I thought. We walked through the lobby. and the desk woman gave us our keys to apartment 13, 3rd floor.

After running towards the elevator and making it to our room. We grabbed all our boxes and clothes and just left it in the floor. We were so exhausted.

"Hey Zo, you want some Nandos? I know you've wanted it since that One Direction lad loves it?"

"yes please! get me some Peri Peri chicken. love yaaa!"

and with that she walked out the door.

After at least an hour of waiting for food. I decided to unpack my room stuff. Everything was organized. My One Direction posters all over my wall, clothes hung up, bed made neatly. Yep, I'm done.

"Carly!! I've been starving for hours!"

"Sorry bitch, but I got stuck in line. Apparently Niall Horan and some

guy named Zayn Malik were infront me and everyone wanted their picture? who do people think they are."

"oh my gosh, you mother fucking bitch. that's one direction! THEY'RE IN TOWN. HOLY CRAP. Now where's my food?"
