Mistakes || H.S. ||

chapter 7

Today was actually the day I looked forward to all week! And it was game day! The game is at 7, so I have the day to just lay around and get some rest.

I finally decided to get outta bed around 12, and do something productive.

I went to the kitchen and saw that there was no food! Ugh.

"CARLY! Where the hell is the food all at?" She ran down the stairs and looked frightened.

"what? What happened? I heard screaming."

"I said where's the damn food?"

"Well as you can see there is none, I'll give you some money and you can run down to the bakery and get some food I guess?"

"Sure, let me put some shoes on."

I looked down and noticed I still had my pajamas on. Ugh, I'm too lazy to change, I'll just wear this.

Carly handed me some money and I ran out the door. I decided to walk cause I forgot my keys. The bakery ain't that far away.

I walked through the door and there stood a curly haired boy behind the counter smiling at me.

Harry? He always surprises me like this. The unexpected.

"What brings you here?" Harry giggled.

"Well there is literally no food at our apartment and so I decided to walk down here."

He smiled and ran to the back. He came back with donuts and sandwiches. Oh sweet baby jesus. FOOD.

"Take it, let's just say it was a treat from me" he winked.

I started blushing and was about to walk out the door and I turned around.

"Come to my game tonight. It's at 7, at the college. See you there." And I walked out the door.

Harry's POV.....

It's 6pm and I am finally ready for Zoe's game.

I got into my Land Rover and drove off.

Story of My Life, came on the radio. I still get creeped out hearing myself sing.

"Story of my life I take her home, I'll drive all night to keep her warm inside." I decided to start singing along my part. When finally I arrived.

I walked in and the whole crowd was staring at me. I guess I never thought about this.

I looked around and I saw Zoe's back to me with her uniform on. She has #13 on. Her hair is kinda curled in a ponytail.

"Zoe!! Over here" I yelled. She turned around and once she laid eyes on me her eyes glowed with excitement. She ran towards me and jumped into my arms. I slipped my arms around my waist.

Zoe's POV.

He slipped his arms around my waist and I have my legs wrapped around him.

"I'm so glad you could make it. I feel like you'll be my goodluck charm."

He smiled and looked into my eyes. He finally let me down... I blushed.

"You'll do great! Good luck out there."

I reached up and sweetly kissed him on the cheek.

I was done warming up so I decided to go sit on the bench. I looked up and saw Harry sitting on the very top corner. He saw me staring and waved..

The buzzer went off. It's game time...here we go. To prove to them I have potential of being a great basketball player. With my crush in the stands & my best friend on the team. I got this... I got this......
