*Aniyah's P.O.V*
All this just seems so unreal to me. What has my life come to? Lord I just pray that my mama is ok. But this is all my fault... it was me that they came for. It was me that they came to kill so why did my mama have to get hurt....and Jacob. This was all my fault. He's in this mess because of me, because he tried to save and protect me. I'm tired of all of this all I want to do is sleep. I'm still in pain from earlier but that would never compare to the pain that I'm feeling now. If my mama dies I don't know what imma' do. I might as well just die with her because I'm nothing without her. I definitely can't let Jacob die this is all my fault. I should be lying there.

The truck was filled with nothing but silent cries until I finally spoke up.

"If I'm who they want then they can have me. We don't want anyone else getting hurt." I finally spoke up

"Aniyah you are not going to them. They will kill you." Dave said

"Ok and you can obviously tell that they will kill anybody in there way of getting to me. So why not just let them kill me, well try to kill me because I'm sure I'll make it out alive."

"Are you crazy? No you're not." Aubrie said

"Listen I'm not really asking any of you anything I'm telling you what I'm going to do. I have to do what's best for us. So I can keep us all safe. So when I'm gone don't worry about me. I can handle my own. Trust me." I said to them

"So it is true?" Brie asked

"Is what true?"

"Are you Queen B?" The twins said at the same time

"No! You're just as dumb as everyone else for believing that lie. I wasn't even down here that night remember I had just left on my trip."

"So you say. How do we know that? Prove it where were you then?" Brie said

"Are you serious? Do you think Chris will still be alive if I was Queen B?" I asked them

"Yes." Aaron said which made us all look at him

"How?" I asked him

"Because you love him. It doesn't matter how much a person does something to you. Love is always more powerful than hate and revenge. It's not about hate and revenge all the time. So call me as dumb as everyone else because I do believe that's true." Aaron said which made us all quiet for a second.

Just pay attention to what he's saying. The good may not always out weigh the bad when it's love but it does make you stay and fight for something. Some think a person is dumb for staying with someone who cheats and do them wrong as much Chris did me.

Which is true... I may be dumb but to a sense. You're gonna love and forgive someone so much that you hate them and when you're finally done after all those years your new life will be better than ever and you'll appreciate all of those hard times that lead up to you and your happy new life. I felt like I've known Jacob for years. He was my final break through from Chris. He was the key to my new life. He opened the door for me to be set free. He was who I was missing all along.

"I like someone else now so I guess love won't matter anymore now will it?" I said

"Ok then we'll definitely find out when Chris is dead in the next couples of days then." Brie said with a slight laugh

"This is not the time to play around Brie. Look around you, just look at what just happened and what's going on right now. Over my dead body will I let any one of them hurt any one of you. So I'm just letting you guys know now I'm leaving for a while when all of this is over."

"And where exactly are you going to go? Who's to say you'll make it back?" Aubrie said

"I will and I'm going." I said to them

"No you're not and I'm not playing with you Niyah." Dave said pulling into the hospital cutting the truck off and grabbing mama's lifeless body.

Jaylen was right behind us with Jacob. Seeing them all over again was so unreal. I froze and just stared to make sure this was really real.

We all ran into the hospital with mama and Jacob.

"Help!!" David yelled to the nurses

"Sir what are you doing with Mrs.Carter she's supposed to be on the 7th floor."

"I'm her husband. She went outside for some fresh air and they came by and shot them. Just hurry please do something. They can't die. Help them!!" David yelled panicking

"Hurry got dammit!! It's not dat' damn slow up in dis' bitch." Jaylen yelled

"Doctors we have two injured patients. Gun shot wounds to the side and stomach hurry we don't have much time." The nurse at the front desk said as she buzzed the doctors and they came out with two stretchers and supplies.

"Hurry you guys we don't have much time. Mrs.Carter has heart disease, lung cancer and low iron. We really don't have that much time with her. We are not letting any one die on us do all you have to do." The nurse told the doctors as they took them both to the rooms and immediately got to work.

"What??!??!? Noooooooo!! She's not gonna make it." Brie fell down crying and screaming

"Baby, don't talk like that. You're mother's a fighter. She fights a battle everyday. All this means is this is up to her. She can get through this if she wants to but if she's tired of fighting then I'm sorry." The nurse told us

"What do you mean she fights a battles everyday? What battle is that?"

"Like I said she's been battling lung cancer for quite some time now. That's not an easy fight but she's a fighter she can get through this."

"What about Jacob?" Jaylen asked

"It's clear that he's lost a lot of blood as well and Mrs.Carter but all I can say is we will try our very best to make sure they're both ok and have a speedy recovery. I have to go you guys you can take a seat in the waiting room."

No one said anything else as we all walked to the waiting room. I've never seen so much hurt and pain in someone's eyes. Jaylen feels as if he's nothing without his brother just as I feel I'm nothing without my mother but that's not true. With God we can get through anything.

Lord please please please let them both make it out of here back to normal with a speedy recovery soon. Everything happens for a reason and I know that's not what you have in store for them. Please I just want them both safe. I'm tired and don't know what else to do.

"Ms.Carter we were looking for you what are you doing out of your room?"

Everyone looked at her like she was crazy but me, Aaron and Dave. Dave looked worried.

"Ohhh Ms.Martin I'm fine my mother is here and I'm just here with my family. I'll be back up there soon. "

"Ohh I'm sorry to hear that I hope shes okay but are you sure you're feeling okay because after a miscar-" 

"Ummmm yes I'm sure I'm fine, please." I said sighing and looking at everyone in the room.

"Ohhhhh I'm so so sorry. You just make sure you be back in your room ok? I can get into a lot of trouble for this."

"Ok thank you." I said as she walked off.

"What is she talking about Aniyah?" Cindy asked

"I swear once this is over I'll tell you whatever you want to know right now is just not a good time."

"Ok but as soon as this is over you're talking." Cindy said

"I promise." I said to Cindy as I leaned over and laid on Dave's shoulder.

He wrapped his arm around me and got comfortable as we both eventually fell asleep.
