The Cover Up

*Teresa's P.O.V*
It was 3:40 and still no sign of Travis and Lavon. We said 3:30 sharp and it's 3:40. Where are they? I hope nothing happened to them. I haven't even gotten the chance to have a proper conversation with my baby yet.

"Yoooo ma. Guess what just happened." Lavon said coming into the room a lil excited and anxious to tell me at the same time, as an annoyed Travis walked in behind him.

"What took you so long? I was worried, I said 3:30 sharp and it's 3:40." I asked Travis

"Ma, just listen." He told me

I smiled, I've missed all of that. I was upset that they had me worried about them and they were ok but the main thing was that they were really ok.

"Ok baby tell me what happened." I said to him smiling as Travis joined in taking in the mother-son moment.

"Soo first I bumped into Niyah. I-"

"You did what? Do you know how important it is that she doesn't know you're not dead." I said giving him a stern look

"Ma, can I finish my story first?" He asked me

"Go ahead." I said to him as he continued the story

"Ok so yeah like I was saying I bumped into Niyah. She was crying so she wasn't looking at where she was going. It was so hard for me not to go in over protective brother mode and ask questions but I knew I couldn't so I just left that alone. But she kept asking me was it me and I was like no my name is Steven. Ma guess what she did." He said looking soo happy, he just couldn't stop smiling

"What she do baby? I asked

"She hugged me ma. She gave me a tight hug. She told me I look just like her brother, which I am. But she cried into my chest as I hugged her. I loved it ma. It was soo hard for me to hide my smile but I did so she wouldn't suspect anything. Then guess what ma!!!! Ohh my goshhh. My sisters are something else I swear."

"What you mean your sisters are something else?" I asked him

"So listen I told you how I bumped into Niyah right. So I was following her to see where she was going in case she came in here with you and I would have been in here. That wouldn't have been pretty. But she went to some other room. I was about to turn around until I seen her come back out the room. She was upset AGAIN, I didn't know what to do. I was watching as she listened to the door. I don't know why but she was doing it. So everybody else came to where she was an-"

"Just say what happened and come on we have a lot to talk about." I said laughing at how anxious he was to tell me

"I am listen, the nurse came out the room and bumped into Niyah. Oooooo ma is was over with then. Niyah was punching her like and I was like dannggggg!! I wanted to stop her but I didn't want anyone to recognize me. So I just watched, it's not like she was getting beat up or nothing. She stomped the girl and blood was everywhere. Niyah looked like she was happy though." He said finishing the story

"Did she get in trouble? Did the girl get up or did she kill her?" I asked as I began to worry about the rest of my children again.

"I don't know all I know is everybody went to minding their business after that."

"It took us so long cuz I had to find him." Travis said getting up and walking to me
