"It's been over an hour since Kagami is in that room..." Kurumi remarked.
"She's trying to get her grief off by playing, so just let her be." Yuuri replied.
"I missed Konata already..." Yuki told the group.
"Me too, Takeya-San." Tsukasa hugged Yuki, tears rolling out of her eyes.
Miki looked at her senpai with a sad look, as she held Ruu's shoulders.
Then a gasping sound is heard, it came from a blonde girl who Tsukasa is familiar with.
"Hiiragi! You're safe!" That voice is already enough for Tsukasa to let go of the hug.
It's Patricia Martin, Konata's friend from the US.
"Patty!? You're safe too!"
They then hugged.
"Where are the others, Patty?"
"Probably in the library. Kusakabe and Tamura were reading through the books like they were lawnmowers cutting grass."
"I see. What happened when you're you know, left us?"
"We stopped at a hardware store not too far from here, and barricaded the street with cars so they couldn't get over them."
"Wait, that street is..."
"Is there something wrong?"
"Kona-Chan... She's gone."
"Izumi's gone!? What do you mean gone?" Patty's eyes widened.
"We stopped to move the cars away, but then one of us rang a crime prevention buzzer which drew them in. Kona-Chan saved us by luring them to somewhere... And she saved a bullet for herself."
"Don't tell me you're kidding..." Patty shivered.
"Sorry, but... She's telling the truth." Miki said, confirming Tsukasa's explanation.
Patty teared up, and said "I need a minute!" Before running off to a room which the others assume were hers.
"Maybe you shouldn't have told her about that?" Yuuri asked.
"Ask about what, Onee-Chan?" Ruu muttered.
"Nothing. It's nothing, Ruu-Chan." Tsukasa answered.
They continued to walk to the meeting room, there they see Yuki is already there with Touko and Kurumi, who are discussing about Randall Corporation and Kurumi is seen showing Touko the syringe the group had found back at Megurigaoka School's underground shelter.
"So, the government is prepared for this, and is already creating a cure? I wonder why did they only create one dose in one package..." Touko spoke.
"That's what we're asking. Whoever this Randall Corporation guys are, maybe they know more about this zombie apocalypse."
"This is too fishy."
Yuki was reading manga the whole time, not listening to their words.
"Oh, Tsukasa. How's your twin?" Kurumi noticed that Tsukasa is there now, sitting down on one of the chairs.
"Worse. She's just playing her game and she won't talk to anyone, I don't like where this is going for her." Tsukasa replied.
"Where's that Takara girl at anyway?" Touko asked.
"She's in her room, sleeping. The whole trip on the road didn't make her well rested." Tsukasa answered yet again.
The whole group had their conversation until Hikako walks in.
"Umm, hey can I get anyone's attention?" Hikako asked.
"Sure, Hika-Chan. What is it?" Touko replied.
"I'm running out of some parts for something I'm making, and I need to get some gears and screws for it to work. And the only place I knew where they are is the auto shop near the park." Hikako explained.
"Count me in. You can't go alone, given your personality." Kurumi said.
"I'm coming too, then."
The whole group looked at Tsukasa.
"What?"
"It's nothing. Oh, also if you can... Find some food or supplies out when exploring to keep ours stocked. Make sure no one followed you too." Touko instructed.
Tsukasa nodded.
"Great. We'll go tomorrow morning, then. At that time none of the Melee fight crew are patrolling around." Hikako smiled.
Well, it's gonna be a safe trip....
