17. Hunted

The next morning...

A zombie is seen crouching in front of a bush, devouring it's meal.

However it didn't notice the silhouette holding an axe behind it.

The axe is rammed through it's head, killing it.

"What is it that it got now?" Hikako asked.

"Looks like a dog." Tsukasa replied.

"Well, poor soul."

The both of them walked away.

"So, what's with your twin sister back in the game room?"

"Well, there's this friend of ours, Kona-Chan who is Onee-Chan's girlfriend."

"Your sister dated a girl?"

"Yep. That's how it is, no matter how awkward it sounds."

"What happened to her?"

"There's... A complication."

Tsukasa then told her about what happened, and Hikako teared up.

"Can't believe it ended up like that..."

"Couldn't sleep for days, thinking about it."

"How about the one who's with us? That Kurumi girl, that is."

"Ebisuzawa? We met her not long ago, at a school with her 3 other friends."

"The school life club?"

"Yes, that is. I suspect that she also had feelings for Yuki, that short pink haired girl who reads manga back at the meeting room."

"So this world had gone to that now? LGBT going wild amongst survivor groups?"

"You could say that." Tsukasa agreed and blushed, as she is hiding the fact that she liked Miyuki.

"Well, can we get back already? We've explored the park long enough. Kurumi-San must've been finished ransacking supplies."

"Yes we can. But where is she-"

"AAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Out of nowhere, the agony filled scream of a girl is heard.

"Is that her!?" Tsukasa asked, surprised.

"I don't know. Let's find out!"

Both Hikako and Tsukasa ran over to the source of the screaming to see 3 girls in school uniforms which Tsukasa didn't recognize. 2 of them were trying to open a bear trap, which had trapped the other one who is writhing in pain.

One of them is a short pink haired girl, which reminded Tsukasa of Yuki, but this one did her hair in a pair of pigtails.

The other one, who is tampering with the trap is an azure blue haired girl, and the one trapped is a dark blonde haired girl.

"Whoa, please don't hurt us!" The pink haired girl stood up and raised her hands as she sees Tsukasa holding her axe.

The azure haired girl stood up as well, fear and surprise evident in her face, as she said "What she said! Leave us alone!"

"What... What's going on here?! We're not bad!" Tsukasa asked.

"Wellwellwellwell-- Sakurako-Senpai told us that if we cut through the park it'll be safer but then this happened! You gotta help us!"

"Please, get me out of this!" The dark blonde girl whimpered.

"Please..."

"Chinatsu, shut up! I've been on scouting before, I know what I'm doing!" The blue haired girl reveals the pink haired girl's name.
