The sound of my suitcase rolling over the hard tile rhythmically is somewhat soothing me. My nap had proven useless when I was woken up by a decent amount of shaking only twenty minutes after I faded out. Oh how I detested airplanes and that stupid turbulence...

Jet lag was definitely going to hit me soon and it was going to hit me hard. I hadn't gotten much sleep on the flight or the night before, and I'm not even quite sure what time it is back home. But I do know that I'll need a nap sometime soon.

I walk out of the gate door, and am surrounded by a mass of people. All I can think of is my serious need for some food in my stomach. I walk over to look at a small directory map of the airport, and can't make up my mind on where I want to eat. My stomach let's out a growl, telling me to just pick somewhere already.

Actually, a currency exchange is what I need. I need to find a currency exchange; unless American and Australian dollars are the same which of course they aren't. Ok so now to figure out where the currency booth is...

I've been walking around confused for a good twenty minutes now. The gurgling in my stomach doesn't want to stop. I am probably going to die of starvation before I can even get to my hotel. I'm so lost right now. Where am I even going? And is it possible to be late to checking into a hotel room? I just desperately need someone to help me. Where are one of those stupid help desks when you need one. And if there is one I don't even know what it would look like or what I'd even ask them.

Only I would be stupid enough to come to a brand new country without my parents or any travel experience. All I know is that I need to find food, money, and a bed soon or I might never return home whether I want to or not.

Okay, sorry for the over dramatics. I just need to breathe. I walk over to a bench and sit down, trying to stop the anxiety attack that's sure to be coming. Anxiety plays a terrifyingly huge role in my life, and this was yet another repercussion of my poor planning. I'm trying to slow my breathing, and it's not working. At all.

Skye, get your shit together. You can't just break down, or cry, or hyperventilate before your great adventure even starts. You can do this. Keep yourself together. Breathe. Look at all those people around you managing just fine. You can do it, too.

A loud scream catches my attention. It's not the scared 'oh no someone's trying to kill me' scream, but more of a shrill giggle of excitement. It actually sounded kind of familiar though I can't seem to figure out why it would. I turn towards the direction of the sound, and there right in front of me, about a hundred feet away, is the currency exchange. My breathing becomes a bit steadier now.

I take three steps forward, silently thanking the noise that turned me in this direction. Another scream is unleashed and this one, more irritated than the other, comes from the same place but a little closer now. I look to see what's causing the commotion when a sea of people splits apart hurriedly.

An unmistakable boy with long spidery legs and blonde hair comes running through the newly opened up walkway. He is moving at a fast speed, clearly from the ridiculously long stride his incredibly long legs must have. The blue eyes I can't see, but know oh-so-well look back to see who's behind him. As if right on cue, a slightly shorter but no less attractive boy with golden curls and dimples you want to swim in is running after him, and he's laughing like a hyena. This can't be real. My jaw drops open, and my breathing is once again a struggle. And just as I'm about to readjust, the Asian one comes running almost as fast as the blonde, closing in on the middle boy.

Someone's missing. And when he finally comes, I'm prepared.

My heart races as the love of my life from years ago breaks through the crowd next. I cannot believe my luck. The four boys who I'd watched do things exactly like this, but from a computer screen, were less than twenty feet from me.

As my thoughts are racing, they stop abruptly, but not as abruptly as the boy who's now standing directly in front of me, thirty feet away. He seems to have seen someone or something, but I swear he's looking at me. But he can't be. The artificially platinum blonde doesn't seem to notice or care that his three best friends are long gone. Michael takes several steps in my direction, and my breath catches. He's studying my face and has a curious and focused expression on his. He continues to walk closer and closer to me, and when he's no more than four feet from where I'm standing, he speaks.
