We have received our orders.  We are to march to the Granicus River, just south of Macedonia.  We will cross by ship with about 39,600 men.  (25,000 Macedonians, 7,600 Greeks, and 7,000 Thracians.)  This is what is supposed to be the first battle in the conquest of the world.  Long live Macedonia!
