Chapter 4

Zach sat on his bed with his oversized hoodie and shorts on and waited for the guy to answer him back.

"But would you really die from wood being air?..." Zach questioned himself.

The answer? Mass Extinction. No one would live.

That fact gave Zach chills. He stood up and walked over to the desk that had all of his drawings on it. He grabbed a clean sheet of paper and started to doodle a guy. The figure he made was medium height level, as tall as himself, had a flawless jaw structure, pretty-curly hair, calm and gentle eyes, sweet smile, perfect. [see photo above]

Zach turned to his radio and started to dance to soft music, for example, 'Can't Help Falling In Love' by Elvis Presley.

He danced around the room in a soft manner, hitting every beat as smooth as possible. Mid way through the song, his friend, Caid Maine, walked in as quietly as possible to just watch his friend be happy in his own little world.

Once Zach finished, he fell back on his bed and he looked over to see Caid standing in the door way, smirking. Zach gasped out if excitement, as he hasn't seen Caid since he moved to Pennsylvania back in middle school. Zach jumped up and ran to his friend. He hugged him really tight which caused Caid to start to lose his breath.

"Caid! I have missed you so much! I can't believe I haven't heard from you!" Zach cried into his arm.

"But I'm here now, and I have two other people I want you to meet." Caid smiled with his cute gap teeth.

Zach was confused, not knowing about anyone else that could have possibly came with him. Just as he looked at the door to his apartment, a woman with a baby in her arms came walking in the door and smiled.

"Is that...?" Zach raised his eyebrows at Caid who nodded, confirming that was his wife and child. The woman said, "Hello, I'm Emma Fray Maine, and this is Zach Blue Maine."

Zach immediately started to tear up at the baby that was named after him. Zach had never had someone named after him in his entire life.

"Why is his name mine???" Zach coughed out between tears.

"Because you were the reason I was able to meet Emma and have him. You kept me alive through the toughest and roughest times. If you wouldn't have been there for me, this wouldn't have been possible." Caid took Zach Blue and handed him to Zach, who was currently crying too much.

"And we wanted to thank you in the biggest way possible." Emma hugged to Caid.

Caid got a call and let it ring.

"Aren't you going to answer that?" Zach asked, holding the baby who was tugging at his hoodie strings and hugging his neck.

"No, it's probably Jordan. Jack got into some mess and I don't even want to know the details." Caid rolled his eyes.

"Well, do you guys need a place to stay?" Zach rubbed his eyes and hugged the baby closer to not let him fall.

"Actually, yes, and we wanted to know if you would watch Zach Blue for us. We were going to go out tonight and are going to see a movie, need some time alone. We heard about Daniel and Corbyn leaving for the week and thought you would be lonely so we brought you a friend to be with. He does get fussy but he will calm down." Emma smiled and set Zach Blue's bags down beside the table.

"Thank you guys-" Just as Zach was going to finish his sentence, his phone sounded off as a message appeared.

"Could you get my phone for me, Caid?" Zach asked, as his hands were already full.

Caid nodded and ran to Zach's room. He found the phone and the phone light went crazy with text. He saw the picture laying on the table and it reminded him of Jack, but he knew Zach doesnt know who Jack is. He noticed the number, but didnt know for sure. The text read:

I have nothing to do and you are good entertainment.
Do you have any good questions again?

Caid shook it off and took the phone to Zach.

Caid thought, "Someone is playing with Zach and doesn't sound good...".
