Chapter 37

"Corbyn, get home now!" Daniel shouted into the phone in a panic. Daniel and the others in the house were in terror as they were search for Jack.

Jack had went out of the house for a few minutes after Corbyn and Zach had left. He was frustrated and upset. As soon as the others left the windows to let Jack have privacy, they heard a scream and everything went quiet.

When they looked out the windows, Jack was gone. No cars were around. Nothing.

They group ran out of the house and looked around the property for Jack's steps or anything. Nothing was there.

It was as if a drone just picked him up and took him away through the air. Nothing was in the sky except for the usual Robin birds and airplanes in the clouds.

Daniel was freaking out as Jordan yelled out for Jack. The other boys and kids were shocked and afraid. Myta took the kids inside as the others looked for the boy.

No signs of Jack were found. Jordan called the police and demanded a team to dispatch for his search. Every block and corner was to be searched. Not a house left closed. Jack was to be found. Nothing less.

"Where am I??? CAN ANYONE HEAR ME?" Jack yelled as he was tied to a chair and a blindfold covering his eyes.

Jack couldn't hear anything, until he heard loud foot steps approach him. He felt the chair he was in shift with a strong force.

"Jack... Robert... Avery... Did you honestly think I wanted Katherine and Jonah?" The deep voice whispered in Jack's ear. He could feel the sharp breath hit his cheek and pierce him.

"Who are you? Why do you want me?" Jack asked, looking around, knowing he wouldn't be able to see the man, anyways.

"I remember that day... Young Katherine... Oh, she was so beautiful, but I didn't want her. I was hoping to get a hold of... You. Then, I saw Jonah. He was handsome, sure. He still couldn't beat your beautiful looks." The man said, feeling very happy about the memories. "I remember the day that Katherine had brought you and Jonah to the cabin. Jonah acted all 'big-and-bad' to impress you. He really liked you. He even told me so! He talked about how much he was in love with young you. When I showed him you on your 17th birthday, oh, he hated him. He couldn't stand you!" The man laughed.

"What do you mean!" Jack shouted.

"Then, Katherine. She cried for years. I even sent her to your house once. She knocked on the door and a girl, I think Jessibelle Landon, opened the door and shouted at her for coming to your house after you little party. Katherine hated you as well. I hoped to get them to get you for me and keep you alive." He sighed. "But, the cops found our hide out. Which meant, we had to relocate to a safe place. Meaning, we came to Dallas, Texas. No one knew us here. It was great. Then, you broke them from my hold. You sent them home. That was the last straw." The man shouted, angry from the memory.

The man pulled the blindfold off of Jack's eyes to reveal who it was. Except, in the distance, Jack saw two chairs with two people in them, unconscious.

"CORBYN, ZACH!" Jack shouted, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Jack turned his head to see the man.

"No..." Jack couldn't comprehend that it was...
