"Welcome home, ZaZa!" Myta, Zach's mum, shouted, showing Zach all the decorations she had prepared. "Ryan and Baby Reese are in your room, waiting for you. Me and your dad will carry your stuff to your room and help unpack."
Zach hummed, walking up the stairs to go to his room, seeing his siblings that he didn't eve know existed.
"Zach!" Ryan, the 12 year old yelled, jumping in excitement. The little baby, that Zach had suspected to be his little sister Reese, was in a high seat, on the side of his bed.
"Hello." Zach smiled, feeling the small pierces in his mind leave a stabbing feeling in his mind. He smiled, trying not to express the pain he felt. He wanted to seem tough in front of his siblings that were looking up to him as a role model.
"ZaZa! Your phone is ringing!" Myta called from the bottom of the stairs. Zach turned around and ran down the stairs, forgetting that he was not allowed to do any physical activities with the head injury that could make him blackout any minute.
Zach reached his phone, panting from running, and answered the phone. "Hello?" Zach huffed, feeling the air slowly increase and decrease as his breath hitched at the sound of the person's voice.
"Who is this?" Zach chocked, walking out the front door to the porch to talk without disruptions. "I mean, I guess I'm fine, but who are you? How do you know who I am?" Zach wondered, feelings slightly frightened, but at the same time, at ease with himself.
"Alright... Do I ever get to hear your name or see you?" Zach asked, feeling slightly dumb. He felt like he should have known the person.
Zach nodded, agreeing to the person's orders. Zach opened the door after the phone hung up and slowly walked up the flight of stairs to the top. He smiled, receiving a text from said caller.
"Whose that?" Ryan asked, leaning over his older brother's shoulder. He had an idea of who it was, but couldn't put any faces or names, even if he had an image.
"Oh, uh, no one in particular." Zach stuttered. It wasn't wrong, just he didn't know if that was the best way of answering it.
"Wait, is that your boyfriend?" Ryan remembered receiving word that his brother did have a boyfriend, but didn't know if it was the same person as from last time.
"Boyfriend?" Zach questioned.
"Oh... I wasn't supposed to say that..." Ryan said, walking out of the room and into his room.
"BOYFRIEND?!" Zach's mind was going crazy...
