Chapter 7

Caid walked over to the door, knocking. No one answered the door, which was weird. Considering that Zach should be putting Zach Blue to bed and that shouldn't take too long.

"Maybe we should call him," Emma suggested, feeling worried.

"No, I have a better idea," Caid smiled as he walked over to a rock pile, picking up the big rock to reveal a key to the door. "They don't even know that is there."

Emma snickered to herself, feeling a bit better, just still worried if they were okay. Once they unlocked the door, put the key back in its own place, and letting themselves in unannounced, they walked to the living room to see both Zach and Zach Blue cuddling on the couch.

Emma pulled her phone out, as well as Caid, and took dozens of pictures. After a bit, they decided to take Zach Blue and put him in his bed. Then, there was Zach, laying on the couch.

"I'm not picking him up." Caid pointed.

"It can't be that bad." Emma went to pick him up, and he immediately stuck to her.

She carried him to his bed, trying to get him to let go, but she was unsuccessful on her own. Caid walked in, smirking, and took Zach off his wife's neck. Zach curled up, feeling cold and needing his blanket. Caid reached over him, pulling his pastel blue covers back over him.

"We might want to leave before he starts to talk in his sleep." Caid laughed, pulling Emma out of the room and to their room.
