"Ash wake up, its your first day at your new school" says my mom. Ugh Im really dreading this day.
What if nobody likes me? What if people make fun of me? What if nobody likes my.. I was interuppted from my thoughts.
"Ashlynn are you up?"
"Yes mom" I replied with a scoff.
I got up to take a shower and get ready, I put on my All Time Low muscle shirt and black ripped skinny jeans with my black vans. I straighted my brunnette long hair and applied mascara until I was satisfied with my look.
I went downstairs into the kitchen and to my suprise I saw my mom baking pancakes. "You look beautiful today, sweetie. Remember to smile today" she grinned. "Thanks I guess." I sighed as I sat at the table.
I loved my mom shes great its just she wants me to be more girly and happier, and neither are me... At least not after my dad left us. He left me when I was 12, Im 17 now. Things just haven't been the same since he left, my mom's barly ever home because she has to work and when she's off she has 'plans' I honestly think she's seeing someone and she knows how much I don't like that.
"Here I made some of your favorite pancakes" she said as she placed a plate of pancakes infront of me.
My mom stood there staring at me waiting for a reaction, I looked up with no facial epression "Thanks." my mom sighed and rolled her eyes while walking back to the stove. I finish my plate and get up from the table to grab my backpack. "Im leaving, bye" I say to my mom but before I could leave she stops me "If you be nice to the kids at your school today maybe they'll like you" she said smiling. I scoffed "Maybe they'll like me?" I replied in a harsh tone. I hurried out the door before she could respond.
I got into my car and threw my backpack to the front seat and started my car. I turned on the radio and started playing 'If U Can't Hang - Sleeping With Sirens'. I arrived at the school and i'm so scared. Where do I park? What if I park in someones place? I mumbled "Fuck it" and parked in the front. I got out and all eyes were on me. Great just what I want. I guess it was pretty stupid to park up front considering the fact someone tapped me on the shoulder... "Excuse me bitch, this is my spot!" he said in a very rude voice. I turned around to see a very handsome boy, blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, a perfect nose "Are you like deaf?" but an asshole. "Uh s-sorry" "Whatever you can't help that your fucking retared" He laughed and so did everyone around. I ran into the schools bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror I hadn't even noticed that I was crying. I hurried and wiped my tears away. I hadn't even been here for 5 minutes and I was already getting made fun of. Isn't today gonna be great I thought.
I walked out of the bathroom and avoided all stares from the boys and girls, luckily I didn't see him. I looked down at my schedule and first block was math with Mrs. Walters. I went straight to her class, once I got there I was the first one in the class. "You must be Ashlynn Brooks?" Mrs. Walters said with a smile, "Yes that's me." I simply said. "Great, you'll be sitting in the back with a boy named Luke." I went straight to my seat and sat down. More kids started to arrive and the more that came the more I got worried, What if that kid from the parking lot is in this class? I looked at my hands distracing myself from my thoughts. Then someone sat next to me, I looked at him and suddenly everyting stopped and my heart skipped a beat. Its him.
