Ashlynn's POV
I was in too much shock to say anything. I tried to run back to find Luke but my body wouldn't listen. I felt so frozen, so helpless. He moved his face towards my ear to whisper, "Come with me and there will be no trouble" He grabbed my hand. Finally I unfroze and pulled my hand back. "J-Jake what are y-you doing here?" I said still in shock. "For you baby, I'm here for you" He grabbed my arm again and moved his lips over my neck.
I shivered when his lips were placed on my neck. This didn't feel as good as when Luke did it. "P-Please stop" I felt tears grow in my eyes. I pulled my arm back and pushed him. He stumbled back a little but caught me again when I tried to run.
He dragged me up the stairs into a room. I ran to the corner of the room. I watched as he locked the door behind him. Well this is it. He's going to kill me. "Don't hide babe, it's not polite" He said. He wobbled over to me, he was ovbiously more drunk than I was. I just want to be in Luke's arms. "But he's a loser why do you even like that fag?" Jake asked in a rude tone.
I must of said that out loud. I didn't answer. "Huh? Why do you like him?" He said a little louder this time eyeing me. I tried to say something but again nothing. "Answer me bitch" He yelled at me getting up to grab me. "Because he's not an ass like you" I yelled back, crying now. "Not an ass? Honey uh did you forget he bullies you?" He laughed sitting back down on the bed. "He d-did not anymore" I replied.
Just thinking of how Luke used to bully me makes me wanna cry even more. "You realize he's gonna continue bullying you?" He said. Why is he doing this, Luke promised he wouldn't. "Why would you say that?" "I didn't he did." He said walking over to the balcony. I got up to walk into the balcony where he was.
"L-Luke said he was gonna bully me? When?" I asked. "When I got here I saw you Luke and you in the kitchen, then I saw you two walk out but he walked over to Taylor and I over heard Taylor ask what you were doing with Luke in the kitchen, Luke said he was getting a drink and you walked over to him and tried to makeout with him... H-He also called you a slut" He said looking away from me. I felt hot tears spill from my eyes.
He pulled me into a hug. I hugged back, I honestly didn't care anymore. But did Luke even say that? Of course he did why would Jake lie. I just wish what he had just told me was just a lie. I loved Luke. He would never do this. Or would he?
Luke's POV
We just walked out of the kitchen onto the dancefloor. "Luke" someone yelled behind me. I turned around to see Calum. "Hey mate" I smiled at him. "Hey, where's Ash?" He asked. "I'm not sure, he was just-" "No, Ashlynn" Calum stated. I turn my head around to where she was, but she wasn't there. Oh no. I promised her. "S-She was j-just right here, no this can't be happening" I ran my fingers threw my hair. "Don't worry, she's probably with one of her friends." He said trying to alm me down.
Ashlynn barley has any friends. Where would she go? Did someone take her? My head was spinning and I felt like I was going to pass out but I needed to find her. I promised. I ran into the dancefloor full of teens dancing on each other. I searched for Ashlynn only to run into Taylor. "Hey, babyyyy" She said, she was wearing a black tight dress that just barley covered her butt. Her cleavage was all out. She caked her face so much. "Hey" I simply replied. "Come dance with me" She said with a pouty face. I hate when girls act like this. "I have to find someone, sorry" I said trying to move away from her. "Who?" She said stepping infront of me to block my way. "Uh M-Michael" I lied. "He's over there with Mia, don't worry about him. Dance with me" She pulled my hand and sat me down on a chair.
She attemped to give me a lap dance but I got up and ran away. I looked back to see her giving a lap dance to an empty chair. I laughed slightly. But fear ran back threw me again. I needed to find her. I went upstairs and checked every room except this one. I opened the door i didn't see anyone. The balcony door was wide open. I walked to the balcony to see Ashlynn and Jake hugging each other. "Uh what's going on here?" I stammered.
They pulled away quickly and Ashlynn looked at me with sorrow but that suddenly turned into anger. She walked past me hitting my shoulder with hers when she past me. I spun around and grabbed her arm. "Hey, hey what's wrong?" She turned to face me. She opened her mouth but didn't say a word. "Ash, look I'm sorry for leaving you by yourself. Calum called my name." I spoke. "Look Luke you really don't need to lie" She laughed sarcasticly. What? I'm not lying. "Ashlynn what are you talking about? I'm really not lyin-" I was cut off by her. "Luke I know that I'll never be good enough for you. You don't have to lie to me about liking me. It's fine, really... It's not like anyone ever has." She said.
That broke my heart. What was she talking about I loved her. Isn't that enough? "Ashlynn please don't say that I love you, and I sure as hell care about you." I said honestly. "Really? Luke I'm not stupid. I know what you said to Taylor" She said. Taylor? What did I even say to her about Ashlynn. I never even said her name. "I never said anything to Taylor about you. What are you talking about?" I'm so confused. "Oh so you never told her about how I tried to makeout with you, and oh here's my favorite that I'm a slut." She tried to smile sarcasticly but she started to cry.
I moved my arms out to hug her but she backed up. "Luke please don't" She spoke quietly wiping her tears away. "Ashlynn please believe me, I never said anyth-" "Luke I don't care, I really just don't care anymore. I-I'm sorry but honestly, Isn't even worth it? Just ask yourself, Isn't even worth pertending to love me... At least I didn't pertend" She walked away towards the door. I grabbed her arm again to face me. "Ashlynn, Ash... I don't know what you heard, but I promise you-" She cut me off "Promise is a big word for you, don't you think?" She laughed. "Listen Ash, I never said any of that shit you heard. And I would never. Because I love you Ashlynn, I'm so inlove with you. I would never do anything to hurt you. I swear Ash, I never said anything... Please believe me." I pleaded. She looked into my eyes with tears. "Do you Ash?" I asked wiping her tears with my thumb. "I-I don't know Luke. I need time." She placed her hand on mine and suprisingly kept it there. "Take all the time you need" I told her. "But we should be getting home" I added. "O-Okay" She said unsure.
We got into my car and drove to her house in silence. We finally got to her house. I stopped my car and we both got out. We walked up to her front door. "So i'll pick you up tomorrow for school?" I asked. "S-Sure" She said simply. "Well I'm so sorry for tonight, I'll make it up to you. I promise." I told her. She weakly smiled. "I hope so." She unlocked her door and walked inside. Before the door shut I said "I love you."
I went home later that night and went straight to bed after my shower. But I couldn't sleep thinking that Ashlynn was upset. Who would even tell her that? I was determined to find out who told her this lie, and I was going to.
