Summary:
(requested by @mystoria_SP )
FTM Peter, accompanied with MJ, Shuri, and Wade go to the annual pride parade and while there, they run into some familiar faces.
(I added Shuri because... gay icon, and just for fun Shuri and MJ are dating!)

*small note before we start: I am not trans. I do not claim to know everything about anything! I did do a bit of research for this chapter to make sure nothing was wrong. feel free to point out any mistakes (respectfully) and I will gladly fix them. in no way do I mean to offend anyone. this is purely fiction!*
[Peter]
"Alright, flags?" I called out.
"Check!"
"Rainbow bowties?"
"Check!"
"All makeup, including glitter and face paint?"
"Check, check, check."
"Gayest attire we own?"
"Check."
"Alright then, let's go!" I exclaimed, throwing my backpack filled with supplies over my shoulder. Wade, MJ, and Shuri followed suit and we headed for the elevators. Once in the common room, we approached Tony.
"Hey, kiddos. What's with the bags?" He asked when he saw us.
"We're going to the library to go over our project. Is that ok?" I told him, asking politely. He nodded, smiling.
"Of course. Just be back before midnight. I'm sure you have money for food?"
"Yep. Thanks, dad. See you tonight?"
"See you." He waved, turning back to Rhodey and starting a conversation once more.
"That was too easy." I laughed when we made it to my car in the garage.
"Seriously though. I wish all parents were that chill sometimes." MJ agreed, climbing into the backseat with Shuri. Wade jumped into the front seat with me and we headed out.
We went to IHOP first because the parade didn't start for another hour. When we finished eating, we went to the bathrooms to change into our outfits. I was practically bouncing with excitement the entire time we were eating. The coffee probably didn't help, I will admit.
When we got to the venue, it was packed. And when I say packed, I mean packed! I was honestly surprised so many people came out (lol), but I was happy at the same time. I didn't see any protestors either, which was heartwarming.
We got out of the car and adorned ourselves with our flags. I wore my trans flag, Wade wore his pan flag, MJ wore her bi flag, and Shuri wore her gay flag. With the rainbows on our cheeks, glitter in our hair, and our other gay accessories, we looked like the gayest Gen z's ever.
"When does the parade actually start?" Wade asked as we started walking to the building.
"12:00 on the dot," I said, checking my phone. It was currently 11:51. "We have 9 minutes."
"So, do we just go wait in here until it starts?" Shuri asked. I nodded in response, holding the door for everyone. Inside the building, there was an insane amount of people. Dressed from normal every day to more extravagant than we were, it was impressive.
Someone came up to us not too soon after we walked in. They were wearing a trans flag as well. "Pardon me, do you know when the parade starts?"
"It starts at 12 sharp," I said, smiling.
