Mixed - Chapter 8

*One Week Later*

"Hello, Little Slut."
     
I groaned at the voice I heard. I just woke up from a nap I didn't need to hear his voice. "What do you want?" I groaned as I looked up at him.
        
Laito leaned close to my face with a smirk and I pushed his face away with my palm.
        
"What is it, pervert?" I asked again, stretching as I did.
        
"Reiji says to get ready for school," he said while staring at my hand which was still on his face.
        
I sighed and removed my hand. "Alright, I'll change," I said as I sat up. I stared at my wall for a few moments. "Get out," I said, pointing to the door.
   
"But—"
        
"No buts, get out," I said, starting to rub my face with my palms. I looked back at where he was and I narrowed my eyes at him. I groaned and got out of bed, going to my wardrobe, I got my uniform out and walked to my bed, laying it out.
        
Laito was still laying on my bed and staring at me.
     
"Laito, you're really annoying," I told him truthfully.
        
He pouted at my comment. "So mean, Little Slut."
        
I looked at him. "I used to be okay with you," I said, smiling sarcastically. I grabbed the clothes and got inside the bathroom. I closed the door and set my clothes down, opening a cabinet for a towel.
     
I remembered when I first got to the mansion and Shu was in the bathtub with his earphones and clothes still on. He looked sort of adorable just 'bathing' in the water.
     
I smiled a bit at the memory.
     
"Why are you smiling?"
   
I froze and turned to the voice, Shu. "Do you want an honest answer?" I asked him.
        
He opened an eye and looked at me. "Yes," he replied.
        
I hummed in thought as I started taking off my sweater. "I was thinking of the first shower I took and you were in here, or more like in the bathtub," I said honestly. I took off my shirt and pants before looking up at Shu, seeing him smirk while looking at my body. It wasn't the first time but this time I felt slightly insecure but shook off the feeling.
     
"You lewd woman, stripping in front of me," he said, still looking at my body and then looking at my eyes.
        
I blushed and wrapped the towel around me. What was wrong with me? I really shouldn't have been blushing this much and feeling this way.
     
"I did it on my first day here. How is this any different?" I asked him, but reassuring myself. I walked to the shower and entered as I removed the towel and clothes, and turned on the water.

I grabbed the towel and wrapped it around my chest. I got out and noticed that Shu was no longer in the bathtub. I got dressed while leaving the school jacket out of outfit and brushed out my damp hair. I put it in a low pony on the left side and walked out the door.

I flipped the page of the book I was reading as the next song on my mp3 played on the way to school. I felt my earbud get yanked out of my left ear and I turned to the culprit with a scowl.
   
"Oi! Don't look at Yours Truly like that!" Ayato said loudly.
   
"Well when you're annoying it's kind of hard to look at you any other way," I said as I took my earbud back and in my ear, and continued to read my book.
   
The book gets yanked out of my hands and I looked up at Ayato, fully irritated. He threw the book to aim out the window.
        
I reached out to grab it before it could make it out and I watched as it headed towards Yui.
        
A hand shot out, grabbing the book mid-flight and I sighed in slight relief when I noticed Shu had managed to grab it before it hit Yui and he looked at me.
   
"I'm really sorry, Shu," I apologized.
   
"Thank you, Shu!" Yui said, holding her hands together against her chest.
   
Shu sighed and he handed me the book, making me smile at the return.
   
"Thank you," I said, opening the book again to continue into my venture into another world. I felt someone hold my wrist and lift me up, feeling myself sit on a different surface and immediately feeling arms slide around my waist. I saw the beige sweater of Shu by my abdomen, and it hit me. Shu had dragged me to sit on his lap.
   
I felt my face get hot and I brought the book up to cover my face from the brothers. I heard a low chuckle from Shu and I smiled at it. His arms around my waist got tighter, bringing me right up against his chest. I let myself lean back against Shu and I continued reading my book in peace. Feeling a safe warmth go over my body, I relaxed against him.
