Her? - Chapter 9

"You know Dude?" I asked Kou, making Dude hold me tighter.
  
"I have a name!" Dude said angrily.
   
"Woah, don't be so hard on Tigress. She doesn't know your name," Kou told the guy. He looked at me and smiled. "His name is Yuma Mukami," he explained.
  
So, they were brothers. They looked nothing alike, though.
  
I shook the thoughts away and looked at Yuma and smiled. "Hi, Yuma," I said nicely. "Can you let me go, you're really hurting my arms," I said still smiling nicely, using the kind of voice you use on a child. He let go and I backed away from him while rubbing my arms. I gasped at my shirt and buttoned it back up.

"You were with that lazy Sakamaki, weren't you?" Kou asked.

I nodded and continued to rub my arms. I looked at Yuma with a raised brow. "What did you say about my eyes?" I asked.
   
"They're the darkest blue I've ever seen. Sort of like sapphires," he replied.

"Hey, since I know your name, I think it's fair you know mine," I said with a small smirk. "Sapphire Marisuta, nice to meet you," I introduced.

"That's convenient," Yuma scoffed.

I shrugged and looked around the halls. "Well, I gotta go. See you around, Kou," I said. I looked at Yuma and smiled. "And you too, Yuma." I walked around them and turned up the volume on my mp3.

I knocked on the door and waited for him to open. I hadn't talked to him much since our last encounter so I was hoping he'd open the door.
  
"What do you want?" I looked up at Subaru and smiled.
   
"Hey, am I bothering you? Or are you busy?" I asked with a small smile.
   
"Uh... no, I suppose not," he said, moving aside to let me in. I nodded and walked in. "What did you need?" he asked, closing the door behind him.
  
"You're like the only one right now that hasn't hurt me. I wanted to spend some time with you," I said honestly, looking around the room slightly. I looked at him and froze.
  
He looked mad. He was the main one that I didn't want to hate me, so it would really backlash if he kicked me out.
   
"It's okay if you don't want to, I won't force you. The last thing I want is to get you mad..." I said, scratching the back of my head. He still hadn't responded and I was starting to feel awkward. "I'll just leave," I said, going to the door and reaching for the knob when his hand gripped my wrist and I froze.
 
"Wait," he said. I turned and looked at him, confused as his hair hooded his eyes. "Why do you care?" he asked me. His grip on my wrist getting tighter and I scrunched my face in pain. "Huh? Why?" he asked louder and then looking up at me. He looked down at my wrist and released me while knocking me against the door.
  
I looked at my wrist and saw red hand marks. I clenched my teeth and stood up. I looked at him. "I don't know why I care. My life has been so miserable since I came here and I wanted to make peace with the 6 of you and I almost get raped by two of the brothers, killed by one, poisoned by one, and hurt by another and I remembered being with you and how much fun I had... so I wanted to hangout with you," I explained, still holding my wrist.
  
I saw him walk to me and I stepped back and hit the door. He held my shoulders. "Two of them tried to rape you?" he asked. I looked up at him and nodded while looking back down. "Those b*stards," he said angrily.

I looked up at him surprised. I rubbed my wrist trying to aid it. I looked up at him and smiled with pursed lips. "I suppose I'm okay now. It only happened 3 times." I sighed. "Anyway, I'll get going now, I don't want to be a bother," I said, turning around and opening the door. I walked out and close the door.
  
Subaru really had a coffin for a bed... new but cool I supposed. It was better than an Iron Maiden, that was for sure.
  
I walked down the hall with the beat of "Hooked On A Feeling" by Blue Swede blasting through my earphones. I mouthed the words as I danced lightly to it through the hall.

"What are you listening to?" I barely heard Ayato ask from another hall. I shrugged and danced away with a small laugh. "Oi! Don't ignore Yours Truly!" I heard.
  
I turned around and sent him a playful air kiss and started singing the lyrics while changing 'girl' to 'boy' and doing hand motions.
