"Sapphire!" I groaned at the voice and started opening my eyes. I was being carried somewhere. I looked up and saw Yuma. He was carrying me like a bride and he looked down at me.
"Great, now she's awake." Yuma looked up and I looked in the same direction to see Yui. "Quit squealing will ya!" Yuma set me down on a soft surface and I shivered at my cold, wet clothes.
"Hey, Tigress," Kou said.
I turned to him and looked at him with a glare. "Why'd you bring me here?" I said.
"What? You'd rather be with those spoiled Sakamaki? Follow Kou and shut up!" Yuma yelled at me.
I turned to him with a raised brow. "I'll talk however long I want, buddy boy," I retorted. I looked at Yui. "And you. Ayato threw me out of the house because he thought I was the reason you were gone."
Yui looked down guiltily and I shook my head. I walked to Kou and we walked out of the room.
Kou opened the door to a room to reveal a pink tinged bedroom and I cringed.
"Something wrong?" he asked.
"Uhhh... the color?" I said unsure. "Whatever, it doesn't matter anyway," I said and walked to the bed when Kou grabbed my wrist. I looked back at him confused.
"Alright then. Until we get it renovated, you'll sleep with me," he said with a happy smile that turned into a smirk.
"Hold on—" he cut me off as he lead me out of the room. "Kou! It's fine I can sleep in the other room," I said, trying to get out of his grip as he continued to drag me down the hall.
"Kou."
I turned around and saw Yuma, and Kou stopped.
"Our little Tigress doesn't like her room so I offered mine," Kou said, looking at his brother.
"And I said it didn't matter," I said, glaring at Kou. I sighed and looked down. "Whatever." Knowing my protests wouldn't be heard out.
Kou turned and lead me down the hall again. He opened the door and I looked around as I walked in. "Alright, Tigress," he said cheerfully as he closed the door. "Time for bed."
I walked to the window and looked out at the clear sky. The stars were shining bright and the moon being the center of it all. I suddenly wondered if Shu had ever been in love after me. Then I questioned whether vampires could even fall in love. I even more questioned why Shu was even the first thing on my mind. So many questions and no answers.
"Thinking about something, Tigress?" I heard Kou ask.
"Yeah.."
"You're thinking about that lazy Sakamaki, right?"
I turned to look at him with no expression and I crossed my arms.
"What I'm thinking about is none of your concern or business.." I told him calmly.
"You love him, don't you?" he asked.
My eyes went wide at his statement. I appeared in front of him, pushing him against the wall by his shirt. "I said it wasn't any of your business. Stay out of my head," I said firmly.
"I don't look in your head, Tigress." I looked at him confused. "I look in your heart."
I let him go and shook my head. "I don't love him. He doesn't love and couldn't care less about me," I explained simply.
We stayed in a short silence until he broke it.
"What was that stuff around you?" he asked.I looked up at him confused. "What stuff?" I asked.
"It was like a blue type smoke but it wasn't smoke," he explained. "If that makes any sense," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "You came at me so quick and you were holding me pretty tightly against the wall for a human, too."
I could only assume it was my powers. I still didn't know what exactly it was and I didn't know how to activate them myself. They just appeared.
