Okay, first of all, let me apologize for that HORRENDOUS GRAMMAR MISTAKE. The poem that I wrote -(yes I wrote that)- is supposed to read,

And the memories fade to glass,

Now that you have passed?

Well, for some reason, I wrote "Past" as in history or former events. Not "passed" as in, 'I passed a coffeeshop on the way to work', or, 'this person's grandfather passed last night'.
So I felt like an idiot after I wrote that out. . .
