"I'm not getting one now" I exclaim wide eyed at her

"Why not? The guy that owns the place is really cool"

"Please define your version of 'really cool' Judy' I grimace completely unsure if I should go through with this or not.

"Em, you do realise being a nice girl doesn't get you the things you want at this age right? That's why princess over there is topping you at everything you've ever tried" she was right, Ashley did top me at pretty much everything, I was always second best compared to that powder puff.

Even the guy I had the biggest crush on picked her over me for the pure reason she had everything I don't.

"Do something big, do something bold"

"Okay fine , I'm getting a tattoo after school, but you've got to come with and hold my hand" I state walking to my next class

"Oh my god yes, try and stop me. I would pay to watch Calum ink you" her eyes where all glossed over and that grin was priceless as she followed me to English.

"Huh?"

"Calum is the guy who owns the tattoo parlour in town, he is gorgeous" I could have sworn she was drooling for a second there as she envisioned this infamous Calum. "Trust me when you meet him you'll be going back there every week for a new tattoo just so he has his hands all over you, he's so your type as well" she giggles

"Okay I agreed to the tattoo, this isn't blind date Judy" I smile trying to keep my excitement at bay.

The final period bell rang at as always, which meant it was tattoo time. I met up with Judy by the school gates and we walked into town together, it wasn't a long walk probably about ten or fifteen minutes, but in that time she just described in detail what Calum would look like. I never even had a clue what I wanted tattooed permanently on my body for the rest of my life...no pressure right?

We stood outside the black building with the name 'HOODS INK' in silver letters written above the door in some jaggy handwriting, this is it no going back now, take a deep breath.
