The past month has been pretty amazing, I've been making so much money. I got a car, and honestly a couple of tattoos. Xander and I have learned alot about each other. We spend almost every night together.
His wife Bella has been away for the past two weeks so it's just been The kids him, and I. Honestly it's been great, as much as I hate it I have this warmth in my heart when I'm around Xander and the kids. It's weird, I've never felt anything like it before.
Tonight was prom I was just about done getting ready when Kendell gets to the Kings. Even though Xander couldnt go with me, I had something special planned for him afterwords.
"Come on babe! You take to long!" I hear Kendell yell from downstairs. Smiling I do some finish touches and walk down the stairs.
The kids were playing in the playroom. Being sweethearts per usual. I had already showed Hannah and Alana the dress, they loved it.
As my eyes met with Xander's I notice his jaw dropping slowly—his eyes running down my body making my body react instantly. "Damn Kail." Kendell speaks making me blush a little.
"Okay I don't look that hot." I mumbled getting a little shy for the first time ever. "No you look beautiful." Xander blurts out making my heart leap. He then snaps out of it looking down to the ground.
Kendle's smile widens, glancing between the both of us.
"Well l-lets get a photo yeah?" He cleared his throat pulling out his phone. Kendell walks over to me putting her arms around me.
Xander snaps a few photos and shows us. "I think you two need one together yeah?" She spoke in a teasing tone.
I shrug, trying to play it off. "Yeah. I mean why not." Xander says, the small tint pink appears on his cheeks. Which had mine doing the same.
Xander pulls me in close as she snaps a photo. All I could do was smile, this man is giving me the feels; and that scares the fuck out of me.
"You girls have fun!" Xander tells us as we walk out the door.
Kendle and I were having such a great time, dancing around with our friend group. Taking photos, gossiping about stupid high school drama.
Eventually we were all sent home after a stupid situation accrued.
"At least I remember why I didn't wanna go." I state, I knew those stupid idiots would ruin the prom.
"I know." Kendell grumbled as I drive us back to Mr. Kings. "I mean, it was stupid for the school to think that we could have an actual prom." Kendle laughs, of course Wayne and his friends had to ruin prom, our senior prom to be exact.
We were only there for an hour and they screwed it all up. Some teachers found them smoking pot and spiking the drinks with alcohol.
Then when they were told to leave they caused a scene. Making everyone go home, so here we are in our $300 dresses and $40 short because that's how much they made us pay for prom. I mean honestly, do you know what I could buy with forty dollars?
