°28- Heartbreak°

|The next day|

{Y/n's POV}

I woke up with a smile on my face as the sun beamed through my window.
Turning to my side, I could see my adorable boyfriend, sleeping peacefully beside me.
I decided to wake him up, after all, we had work today.

I gently shook him, my hands firmly on his shoulder and arm.
"Kaneki~ wake up." I said, shaking him.
He groaned and turned around, so his back was to me.
I giggled and said, "So rude~"
Kaneki mumbled something, then turned to face you, his grey eyes still closed.

"Kaneki-kun..." You whispered, kissing the top of his nose softly.
Finally, his captivating grey orbs opened slowly as he stretched.
You laughed as his arms fell on you.
He smiled and said, "Morning."
"Morning sleepyhead." You said, ruffling his fluffy white locks.

He yawned a bit before sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
You sat up as well, stretching your arms in front of you.
"We have work today, don't we?" Kaneki asked, turning his head to face you.
You nodded your head, pulling the covers off of yourself.

Kaneki sighed softly and stood up.
You glanced up at him as he said, "I'm going to my apartment to get ready. See you at work."
He was about to open your bedroom door and leave the room, when you said, "Wait! Kaneki!"

He turned his head to face you and hummed in response.
"Won't the others want to know what happened?" You asked, worry clear in your eyes.
Kaneki turned towards you fully and looked into your eyes.
"Yes..." He whispered.
"Well, that's the problem. I don't know what happened!" You practically yelled, clenching your fists.

Kaneki sighed before saying, "Just don't answer them."
"Are you going to tell me what happened... Or not?" You said, venom dripping in your tone of voice as your hair hung over your eyes.

Kaneki looked at you, well, more like glared at you before saying,

"You should remember."

And then he walked out of your room, and out of your house, slamming the door a little.
You were left shocked in your bedroom.
Tears filled up in your eyes as you gritted your teeth and clenched your fists one again.
Was your beautiful relationship coming to a hurtful end?
