{Normal POV}

You sighed to yourself as Touka walked out of the kitchen, whispering something on the way out.
You wondered what she was going to do.
You shook your thoughts away and grabbed a notepad and pen, before walking out of the kitchen to take some orders.

All you wanted to know was what happened to you, and he wouldn't tell you. You both argued over something stupid.
But deep down, you knew that you still loved him.
"Hey, lady! Over here!" A male waved.
It seemed he was with a bunch of young males a similar age than him.
You were guessing they were his friends.

You quickly put on a fake smile before walking over there.
You stopped in front of their table and asked, "Hello, what can I get you all?"
The male with blonde hair smirked and said, "I want you cause' your lookin' fiiiiiiine."

You flinched in disgust as he winked at you.
"U-uh, i-" You said, your face heating up.
What were you supposed to do in a situation like this? Kill them?
Yes, it sounded like a great idea, but you couldn't.

That's when the familiar scent of someone made your eyes widen a bit.
"Sorry, she's taken." A familiar voice said sternly.
"Oi! Who are you?" The blonde haired male asked, glaring at Kaneki.
"I just so happen to be her boyfriend, so you better stay the hell away from her." Kaneki said, also glaring at the blonde male.

"Ughhh..." The blonde haired male groaned and waved his hands, signalling you two to leave.
You gasped as Kaneki grabbed your wrist and dragged you to the kitchen.
Once in the kitchen, he let your wrist go, and you yelled, "What the hell was that for!?"

"You should be saying 'Thank you.'" Kaneki sighed, turning away from you.
You glared at him and crossed your arms over your chest.
Yes, maybe you should of said 'Thank you.'
"Kaneki..." You whispered, wanting to talk to him.
He flinched a bit, but then he walked past you and left the kitchen.

You felt your eyes sting as tears welled up in them.
You clenched your fists and looked down at the floor.
Don't you see? I still love you, Kaneki. But... I understand if you don't live me anymore.
