I watch the monitors just long enough to make sure Jav picks Sadie up, and that they're on their way back to the penthouse so she can get some rest. Despite insisting her ribs weren't hurting anymore, she tossed and turned practically the entire night trying to find a position that is bearable, and every time she speaks, she sounds like she just climbed ten flights of stairs because her breathing is so shallow. She isn't fooling anyone.

Once I'm content that Sadie is taken care of, I put my laptop in my bag and head to meet up with Ro and Alex at the cage. By now, they'll have Gomez ready for me. He caught me on the wrong day, that's for sure. Watching Herrera speak to Sadie like she is trash is all I can handle. He's disgusting and if I could have gotten ahold of him, I would have much preferred that. Someday I will, but in the meantime, Gomez makes a perfect stand in.

I get to the ranch, thrilled to see that Ro's car is already here. The cage is basically a prison cell out in the middle of nowhere in the barn of some land we own under an alias. It's the perfect torture venue. Far enough away that no one can hear the screaming, and any foul smells are masked by the livestock. Not to mention Alex and I like to experiment with all the old farm machinery. Who knew a hay baler could be so useful in getting people to talk?

I'm not coming here today to talk, though. He doesn't have anything I want, and he's lost any chance he had of bargaining for his life the second he laid his hands on Sadie. Ro and Alex must know I'm not playing around because when I get inside, Gomez is standing on a stool in the middle of the room with his arms chained to the ceiling. He's stripped nearly naked with a gag in his mouth, and the imbecile is already crying. This is fucking pitiful.

"It's showtime boys." I grin, shutting the door to the barn behind me.

"It's about time you got here. We almost killed him ourselves and put the poor guy out of his misery. Starting crying the second we picked him up and promised to tell you whatever you wanted to know. It's fucking annoying." Ro rolls his eyes.

I toss my jacket onto the table and roll up my sleeves. I'm going to enjoy this to the fullest extent.

"Everything is set." Alex says, coming around the side wall. "I've got everything you need in the tool box over there, and the harvester is ready to go in case you're feeling especially evil today."

Gomez starts fighting against his restraints, moaning about something I can't come close to understanding with the gag in. Ro walks over, sucker punching him right in the gut. "Quit your whining, bitch ass."

"Easy Ro." I chuckle. "I want him alive so he can feel every second of this."

"Alex, I found the pliers in the truck that you asked for..." Why am I hearing Adam's voice?

I turn in the direction it comes from, and to my surprise and irritation, Adam is staring back at me. "What the fuck is he doing here?"

"Relax." Alex puts his hand on my shoulder. "He helped us transport and he's gonna get everything cleaned up after we're done. Besides, Sadie is his sister, I thought he'd want to see the guy pay for hurting her."
