Three years later

What do you think?" I grinned, coming out from the dressing room and showing my Adam, Ro, Alex, Eli and dad the final product. We were standing in the great room of the house at Lake Como that Sadie and I had rented for our wedding. It had taken a lifetime, but I was finally getting that woman down the aisle the right way.

If I had it my way, we would have been married years ago in a big church wedding back home, but this was Sadie we were talking about. She had a firm stance against anything traditional, and because I loved her more than life itself, I gave in. It hadn't taken much convincing, I'd follow that girl anywhere, and for the last three years, I pretty much had. Our daughters already had more stamps on their passports than a flight attendant, traveling every step of the way with us. Sadie and I had settled into a beautiful balance and had spent the last three years seeing the world like I'd always promised her. I had somehow convinced my father to stay on as acting Don for a little bit longer so I could do this for her, but after almost three years on the road, our travels were finally coming to an end. It was bittersweet for sure. We had made some of the most incredible memories over the last three years. We'd seen parts of the world most people only dream of--riding camels in Egypt and swimming with great white sharks in Australia, climbed to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and stood on the Cliffs of Moher making wishes by the sea. We're toured castles and tombs and old buildings filled to the brim with history. We'd tried all kinds of different foods, even fried Tarantulas in Cambodia and puffer fish in Japan. Gemma had been born in London, and Josie in Sicily. I'd never in my life forget the look in Sadie's eyes as we explored the world together, and getting to share that with her was something I would cherish for the rest of my life, but I think we were both craving a little bit of normalcy. My dad had done me a favor, but it was time to go home and resume my position as head of this family, this time with a wife and two beautiful daughters by my side.

We had invited all of our closest family and friends to meet us in Italy in one of the most incredible places we had come across during our travels— Lake Como. We'd come here early on, before Gemma was born, and we both instantly fell in love with it. It had been a dream one true for Sadie, gliding across the water and looking at the picturesque mountain peaks, colorful buildings, and crystal-clear water, and it was a memory that was etched in my mind forever. This place was like a village out of a fairytale and my enchanting queen fit right in. When we decided we'd do a destination wedding, Lake Como was an easy choice.

Your tie is crooked. Do you want to go see your new bride looking like a barbarian? And why does your hair look like you're in a boy band?" Alex roughed up my hair a little bit, smirking.

"My new bride?" I arched my eyebrow at him, punching his arm playfully. "Sadie and I have been married for three and a half years already."

"Yeah, yeah. We know." Adam rolled his eyes. "But this makes it official, and I'm with Alex. You can't go out there to see my sister with a single hair out of place." I batted his hand away as he tried to do something with my hair.
