Crystal stared for a few seconds longer before fully lifting her head.

"Hello." She replied, as she spoke the tom cat sat down and wrapped his tail around his left side and paws. Crystal suddenly left her paws giving way and her rear met the floor, her tail lashed from side to side before curling around her just the like the other cats but for her, her tail wrapped around her right side.

"You don't carry a Clan sent, I take it you're a KittyPet." He said, before Crystal could say anything he opened his mouth again. "I'm Echopaw. Of RiverClan."

Crystal nodded. "I'm Crystal, just Crystal. Like you said: I'm a KittyPet."

Echopaw nodded softly as his ears flicked from side to side.

"Is something wrong?" She asked quickly after, Echopaw shook his head.

"No, it's just." He stopped and sniffed the air. "You're on ThunderClan territory, and well, there Deputy isn't a KittyPet fan."

Crystal stood up. "Can I come over and join you?" She asked, Echopaw went to open his mouth but shut it. He shook his head and stood up.

"RiverClan would turn me into Crow-food if they wound out I just let a KittyPet into our territory."

"It's not like you have to tell them."

"They will smell you."

"Smell me?"

"Yeah." Echopaw sighed. "KittyPet carry no clan scent so they would be able to follow your scent."

Crystal nodded softly and watched the water.

"But that doesn't mean there isn't a place where we can meet." Echopaw said brightly, Crystal's ears pricked up as she lifted her head.

"Where?"

"Follow me, but stay on your side of the river till I tell you to come across." Echopaw said before bounded off down the river, Crystal scrambled after him. As they ran Crystal could tell she was at a disadvantage due to her lack of running and his slim body.

Crystal stumbled along, her pace dropping rapidly. As they both came to a stop crystal could see large slab like stones in the river that stuck out above the water.

"You can cross here." Echopaw said happily, Crystal nodded before jumping into the first stone. It was slippery under her paws but she soon got used to it and was bouncing from rock to rock till she had her paws sadly on the sandy bank of the river.

"That was fun." She purred, Echopaw laughed before turning and looking at the light hill they had to run up.

"This way." He said before leading the way up the hill, Crystal followed closely behind as they walked. Her eyes fixed on him as they ran, she was still tired but was pushing herself to keep up with Echopaw.

Once at the top of the hill they stopped, Crystal stared as she saw four large oak trees stood together with a large rock bead the back.

"This is fourtrees." Echopaw told her. "This is where all the clans come to meet every full moon to talk." Crystal nodded.

"Can we go see?"

"Sure, follow me. But try and be quiet."

The two cats made their way down the large hill that over looked fourtrees, once at the bottom that sat in the shelter of a few bushes to mask their scent.
